Like I felt bad for Cortes when he gave up the slam in Game 1, but the Yankees as a whole can eat shitI like Aaron Judge, but fuck the Yankees.

The one guy ripping open the glove will get ejected for sure. Other grabbing his hand probably as well.
Seemed like a really odd decision. If anything Judge should have been bumped down further.Don’t know why Boone moved Stanton out of the cleanup spot *shrug*
Jeter's postseason numbers are roughly the same rate as his normal stats. regular season 308/374/465/838 postseason 310/377/440/817. His career OPS+ was 115 which is good but not amazing. ARod was a better fielder for sure and should have played shortstop. Jeter had dogshit range, but had a strong arm, he probably would have made a good 3rd baseman defensively. Among players with at least 3000 plate appearances he's tied for 558th in OPS+.That's a good point and probably a big part of Jeter's hype. 7 world series appearances, 5 wins, and I'd say he played significantly better in the postseason than he did during the regular season. In fact if he played at his postseason level all year round I probably wouldn't be calling him overhyped.
It's hard to describe his fielding ability. He was mediocre relative to other shortstops but shortstop is the most demanding fielding position so he was still one of the best fielders in the game. Pretty sure A.Rod was a better shortstop (and hitter) when the Yankees traded for him but they moved him to third out of respect for Jeter's seniority (I assume). Wonder if that kind of decision making contributed to the Yankees going from 6 WS appearances in 8 years to 2 WS appearances in 20 years.
