I think the dream at this point is for the Yankees to tie the series so that Dodgers fans start panicking and Yankees fans start getting cocky, only for the Yankees to get blown out in utterly humiliating fashion in game 7.

Depends on how you frame it: Players who won rings elsewhere but not with the Yankees, or players that never won and are generally considered Yankee lifers? Rickey Henderson never won a ring while with the Yankees. Mattingly is the best Yankee lifer who never won a ring, but yes, Judge is quite a bit better.
