Yeah, he was averaging over 70 per season with the Yankees. He didn't just steal a bunch of bases, he was efficient was over 80 percent success rate. 1406 steals and caught 335 times. He was part of what really got me into baseball when he was with the Yankees. Mattingly, Ricky, and Dave Winfield. That was a stretch when they had for shit pitching though.
