I realize the Dodgers are loaded, and as a fan base we are fairly spoiled right now. But if he doesn't pick the Dodgers, I am gonna be REAL sad if he picks the Padres.

He isn't 25, so he won't be an unlimited free agent. The max deal he'll get will be like $8 million or something - so he'll be an absolute steal. I expect he'll take a short-term deal.

More pure talent, but definitely raw. Throws 102 etc, but needs a bit of work, he projects as something close to an ace (with time).

By all accounts, the Dodgers and Padres are the favorites - it will be one of those two: Dodgers for obvious reasons, but apparently his idol is Yu Darvish. So we can only hope he decides to not be gay and play for someone other than the Dodgers.

The Dodgers are so stacked this year, it's almost a negative. Like the expectations for the team are going to be incredibly hard to achieve. Barring a World Series and approaching the regular season wins record, I don't know what else you can do.
