That's definitely to Israel's advantage then. I still just have a funny feeling that Costa is going to wreck him. I'm so excited for this fight.

I dont understand why a lot of people are picking against Adesanya all of the sudden. Costa is an elite fighter, it will be a tough match up no doubt, but Adesanya isnt a slouch or someone who will get pushed around. Costa's advantage should be nullified by way of Israel's much longer reach. Not only does he have an 8" rech advantage, but overall he is more lanky and simply longer than Costa. Even his fighting style is more loose, and his stance allows him to strike from a distance, whereas Costa is compact and disciplined, needing to close distance and get in close to do damage.
I just dont see how he is going to be able to overcome Israels reach. Adesanya has great TD defense, so Costa cant just rush him with TD attempts he will get stuffed and tagged. Adesanya wins a comfortable decision.

They went into round 5 even. Kelvin almost finished him at the end of the 4th. Isreals face looked like hamburger after fighting him. Even the last round was competitve up until Kevlin got hurt like halfway through the round and even then Isreal couldnt finish him. So yeah, Id say Kelvin gave him trouble.

I chalk it up to an aberration. There's no reason to think Israel will regress or continue to fall asleep at the wheel during fights. Romero was being a faggot almost the entire first round and was playing keep away for no reason. He looked just as bad if not worse, as he was fighting for a title.

Yoel was a retard. He thought if he refused to engage that Israel would have to fight him on his terms instead. Instead of chasing Israel and letting him counterstrike and exploit his mistakes, he tried to turtle and hoped Israel would be dumb enough to then push into him and brawl.

I really enjoy watching Conor fight MMA, but I have zero interest in watching him box. Maybe I'm a bad fan, just no interest at all in him boxing again. The first one I was somewhat interested just to see if he could get some good punches in.
