In the 4th round, Felder landed a punch that snapped RDA’s head in such a manner I thought an upset was coming. He was so close to winning via KO, I can see why Felder was given a round. Nearly twice as many strikes landed. 1-1 on takedowns, and all RDA did was have grappling control. Nothing outside of that. Fight was def closer than it appears.

no, no it wasn't. I could agree with Felder winning round 4 but that would be it. Certainly not 1/2/3/5

Go watch the fight again. RDA did absolutely nothing but have control. Didn’t out strike, and finished what, 3-10 on takedowns, and Felder got back up every single time. RDA didn’t land shit for ground strikes. Had one submission attempt, otherwise he did jack shit that fight.

yet it was clear as day he won rounds 1/2/3/5, and probable 4 just like the 2 judges worth a salt scored it.

Those weren’t the stats I saw last night. Felder was leading significant strikes 90some to 40some. And he was only credited with one takedown attempt, which succeeded. RDA barely won, and nearly got knocked the fuck out in the 4th round. I would have scored the fight 50-45, but Felder wasn’t far off from making it a true 48-47 split.

This is why all those stats are unofficial.

One person's opinion of a takedown attempt or significant strike is not a metric for judging in this sport.

Dana said McGregor/Poirier will not be for a title. Khabib is still in the testing pool and was recently tested.

don't know when the interview was done, but was posted at 9:30 last night
Platinum Perry admits he's got *a lot* of weight to lose before Friday: "I still have 20 that I'm going to plan on cutting last minute."

I swear to God I keep finding myself typing this.

I had no idea that Shogun was still fighting. Some of these guys really don't know how to walk away, do they?

wonder if they are going try to sign somewhere else. don't know if rampage would do BKFC, he probably could still do show in japan maybe? figured they would hire Silva as a rep or something.

speaking of BKFC. PVZ posted this the other day, think she is fighting in Feb and probably going to bellator after that.
mild NSFW ish

just realized there are 2 different stories on silva, dana saying he is retired and still under contract. another saying he has been released and free to sign elsewhere.

Everytime I see PVZ, I see Uriah Faber. She is literally the female version of him.

Dana said he'd release Silva if he wanted to do something else was what I heard from a press scrum.

But he could have changed his stance and is muscling Silva into retirement.

After Anderson's shin became a rubber band, he retired in my mind. The last 7 years of him continuing to fight doesn't exist.
