I'm also not sure what's going on with Shogun's elbow here. Is he growing another pair of balls?

Yea that is ridiculous.

The UFC is now owned by Jews, so this makes a ton of sense when you factor that in.

When Luke Thomas (MMA Journalist) was on Rogan 11/3/20, he made it sound like a Fighters Union was just around the corner.

There is also a contingent of fighters attacking many of the basic rules and rights of the UFC. It involves them making the matches as well as being the promoters, belt issuers, and the ones the pay the fighters. Basically, they want some of those rights broken up between competing groups to give some checks and balances. Similar to Muhammad Ali Boxing Reform Act.

When you hear about some of the mid-tier fighters in other organizations, compared to top 10 guys in the UFC and the pay discrepancy it is pretty alarming. I think he gave Dustin Poirier and some dude I never heard of as example (It's been 3 weeks since I listened to it, hard to remember details).

It is definitely worth listening to if you are interested in the business side of the sport.

in the ufc's case, I'm with the fighters. They get fucking robbed blind while the ufc sits back laughing raking in cash

UFC clearly doesn't have the interests of the fighters as their top priority.

Can you imagine if Roger Gooddell decided Tom Brady was boring to watch, held press conferences to rip the guy's arm strength, and had the power to decide he's worth a contract for $5 million a year while never promoting him so he can't build up his brand outside the NFL?

That said, UFC seems more comparable to soccer or WNBA. Emerging sports/leagues use different models. UFC brands itself as an NFL-type organization, and surely that helps them sell fights, but they're still in the little leagues.

i would love to see lewis pull it off, but don't think will happen. Blaydes will probably get a take down in like 1st min and it will be pretty much over.

black beast is better at dragging the fight out, if blaydes don't finish blackbeaast in 2rounds, blackbeast will surprising outlast blaydes. cuz blaydes has the tyron woodly body where theyre amazing for 2rounds and then it becomes a detriment later on, blaydes barely eaked out a win in his first 5rounder vs. volkov. i'm not saying black beast has some hidden stamina, he can just last longer smarter.

also blackbeast never fades in power from round 1 or round 4, he just don't move, lulz

I honestly think Lewis is underrated and is improving. I'm not sure who I'd pick between them, myself.
