Nick Diaz No-Shows UFC 183 Open Workouts, Dana White: | MMA News

"There's a lot of things he doesn't show up for, but he always shows up for the fights," said White. "So I'm counting on him showing up."

White continued, "I did it to myself again. I made a fight with Nick Diaz, a big main event fight. You know, when you get him in the office and you sit down, and he's like, 'Well, you know, I feel like I haven't been paid right. Pay me right.' He's being paid right for this fight. It doesn't matter how much you pay him, he's not going to .I did it to myself, so I can't sit here and cry about Nick Diaz. It's Nick being Nick."

Yeah I think Dana just needs to use Diaz being a no show to his advantage. The downside isn't having a few press events that are missing a fighter, the downside is then every other fighter will see Diaz being cut some slack and will want to push the envelope. Usually Dana can just make an example out of the fighter to keep the others in line, but since Dana is just using Diaz as a can for Silva to crush (maybe) he'll just roll with it.

White continued, ?First of all, we have a show called UFC Embedded, they showed up there Sunday to start filming him ? couldn?t find him. We went through his management team and they set it up, they said ?what we?ll do is we?ll set up a team dinner, you guys can film at the team dinner.?

?None of them showed up at the team dinner, then nobody answered their phones when the guys started calling. So then yesterday Nick was supposed to land in Las Vegas at 2:20. He missed his flight. His management team called and said, ?book him another flight at 7:30.? Not only did he miss the first one, he missed the second flight. His bags made it to Vegas and he never did.?

What a fucking retard.

He didn't go to school for that.

How did he check in his bags and not get on the plane? lol

Cut the cunt and his cunt brother so they can go smash cans in Bellator for less money and cry about it.

Hell, Nick probably would make more since him and Scott Coker are mutual HJ buddies.

Let's wait until after Silva crushes him. Then cut him.

Grimm, I seriously dislike the new avatar. I feel like I am going to go into a seizure looking at it

I bet he blows off the fight. He's been wanting to get cut for a very long time.

Story is that Nick has been in Vegas the whole time and Dana just spun this story to get people talking, and look, it worked!

Even his agent, who is the one claiming this, said he intentionally missed his first flight "as planned".

All he keeps saying it "everyone knows where he is. Dana knows where he is"

The truth lies somewhere in the middle. Because Dana lies constantly and Nick's agent lies constantly.

edit: Jonathan Snowden says it's well known that Diaz had been in Vegas for days. Which directly conflicts with his agent saying he was skipping his first flight to fly in later today. But still in time for press stuff. Which of course did not happen.

Shit's weird.

No worries though, a non-bitchass is ready to help.

Pretty safe boast by Cowboy since he knows he'll never get that fight, but man he really is awesome.

That very well may be true, but do you really doubt he would take the fight if it did come down? Cause I don't think he would hesitate.

He would absolutely take it, he has nothing to lose. Losing to Anderson Silva means nothing, especially fighting out of your normal weight class. Beating Anderson Silva means everything.

I'd be really surprised if this happened. Unaccompanied bags are like the #1 most obvious way to get bombs on an airplane and the TSA shits themselves whenever someone checks a bag and doesn't board.
