Really good and accurate boxers, especially ones who are freakishly fast, can lead with the left hook very effectively.

The problem is that instead of a preternaturally quick and accurate natural freak boxing athlete(Roy Jones Jr) Ronda is a slow and plodding striker. With a terrible coach whose 2 greatest claims to fame are latching on to Ronda herself, and weaseling his way in to Vic Darchinyan's camp right before he fell off a cliff and started getting KO'd constantly.




I looked back and I was screaming about the UFC needing to sign Holm back in 2013. There's also a post from me saying that if Holm threw all the kicks etc Ronda would never be dumb enough to not take her down and finish her. Oops.

Jones was a monster before he got old. He was totally reliant on his quickness so once he got old, he went south fast. His fight against Virgil Hill was ridiculous though. Tyson was at his best when he used that shitty little quick jab to set up your destruction.

Would kind of like to see Rousey get a rematch and get crushed again. That would be awesome.
