A rematch makes perfect sense for the UFC. Feels like Ronda not so much, she should take some time off and get a win before she fights Holly when she was being so utterly bested.

Not the exact same thing, but I believe we did this on the Xbox back in the day for Lesnar-Overeem. Worked fine aside from one major buffer.
Watching Holm & Rousey felt like watching Dillashaw vs. Barao, just worse. I just can't see Rousey beating Holly. You can't fix that stand up over night, and Holly has years & years & years of experience there. Styles make fights in combat sports, and I think Holly fucks her again. She never even got to Holly aside from the one half-ass take down. Not to mention, Holly was practically the only girl she ever fought who didn't come right fucking to her. Just shows the incredible gap between taking some girl who has some talent, trains MMA & gets fed to Rousey, compared to Holly who is a lifelong combat athlete.

Ronda has a...uh...grapplers chance. If she had better takedowns she'd have a great chance, as it is her main takedown trick is to lead with her face until she can get her hip in and use her judo. That or rely on her opponent to charge in like an idiot and use her judo to turn that idiocy against them.
If she lands that takedown she should still be at a huge advantage. It's mostly a matter of bringing in a coach who is great at transitions. Baiting her opponent in and countering strikes with takedowns. Unfortunately for her Holm already works with Jackson MMA, and they're pretty much the best at this.

Watching this week's Bellator now.
Early in the card is 2 dudes I don't know. Mario Soto vs. Adam Piccoletti. Both guys have good records. They trade some blows and Piccoletti immediately starts going for the takedown and any time he has a vague shot at a limb he jumps on it. Dude is fuckinggoing for itBJJ wise. Give Soto credit, he fought it all off and we got a 2nd round. Which was a replay of the first, Piccoletti is a machine. They get in close, he gets the advantage and it's just a matter of time.
Adam Piccoletti is my new favorite up and coming guy. He's fucking awesome.

So on Thursday night we get Thug Rose and Paige Van Zandt and also Sage Northcutt and a socially awkward seeming Cody Pfister. It's hard for me to see Sage losing. I really think this kid is gonna run through the division. He's a just a weird motherfucker. Just check out his dad's jeans. What the actual fuck? Also, the Rose and Paige fight could go either way. I want Rose to win maybe just because Pat Berry is cool as shit and she has rubbed off on me over time. However, Paige is fine (not to say that Rose couldn't get it). She is gonna do things in life if fighting doesn't work out. I know Joanna will destroy both of these chicks but I think they match up pretty evenly.
