GSP quit due to mental weakness. Jon Jones looked terrible in his last fight compared to all previous bouts and got popped by USADA. Conor refused to defend his title to the point of losing it.

GSP quit due to injuries and cumulative damage (CTE symptoms). Jon Jones did look like shit against OSP but he still won UD easily. And how many times is Conor supposed to fight a year? Nevermind going up and down weight classes.

Jon Jones had a lot going on the week of the OSP fight. He also admitted he didn't really even train for him or take him seriously. People give him a lot of shit for all of his past misgivings, but when he's on his game no one (except a highly motivated Mauler) can come close to hanging. I don't think Rousey should be compared to either him or GSP. Before losing, Rousey scored 3 of her 4 wins by KO or TKO and I think that helped her falsely believe that no one could fuck with her. I really wish she would've switched up her coach/camp to see how she would've fared under a different tutelage. It may have been the same outcome, but considering Edmond's record of coaching past fighters, I think it would've helped some. She needs to go train with Schevchenko if she ever wants me make another serious go at it.

Yeah probably, but I like my idea of the ref realizing you can't beat someone with those kind of dodges and forcing the kicker to throw in the towel.
