nice vid.
Just my preference, but I'd reduce the music volume in future vids / increase the ingame volume. What's going on is instinctive to you, but I find even watching replays of games I'm an expert on, being able to hear the sound effects is critical to fully appreciating a game video.

Looks like a decent guide for the base game before DLC monsters and as of right now we only know of the base game coming out on PC release. We don't have info on the timeline they'll provide the DLC quests/monsters yet, though hopefully its faster than the PS4 content came out. So yeah, that should be good until DLC.
Though that is pretty step by step and may take the fun out of things. If they tell you to go for a certain weapon thats cool but damn that is color by numbers. My suggestion is to not read ahead in that guide too much because eventually you'll start making the connections of whats good/needed. Almost everything is viable, just not always optimal.
Not sure if anyone saw Social Dissonance (OG Monster Hunters) take gold at the MHW USA Championship speed running tournament. The 8 teams had 5 loadouts to choose from and this was the fastest run. Some of the high end tricks were great to watch and you don't get to see many of these tricks in these high DPS speedruns with all max gear.

Phemeto and TSC would have won easily if Phemeto not had his controller issue when he was auto sheathing.
You are 100% right and I'm learning DaVinci so I can do voice overs frames titles etc, just do not have the knowledge yet so just tossed something in.

If going for flashiness its going to need to be something fast. Dual Blades is a good choice. Maybe Longsword?

Eh I am sure we can argue about the what ifs and if they would have saved them 10+ seconds. Auto-sheath can be inconvenient but he adapted to it before, not only that but Phemeto is a well known gunner speedrunner and while I would never say he couldn't play every weapon at top tier he definitely has less time with melee weapons. Either way it sucks to see because you never want any what ifs when you win or lose. I hope to see more tournaments in the future and finals to be Best Of 3s/5s. I'm sure TSC and Phemeto will continue dominating.
Played DB all through MHW. It was probably the most fun I had in any MH due to the mobility. DB has never had the tools it has had in this game and eventually you just feel like Neo.
Phemeto 100% doesnt melee and your correct he hasnt until 3 weeks ago for this with TSC, if you really wanna tall about who crushed it go back and watch Omnitoad snap the fuck off. He hates me but damn he is awesome lol
I do not wanna do Longsword as it's really overused. I could do Bow and feel fine.

Was watching CantaPerMe play hammer the other day and he actually knows how to get range out of it. makes me want to rethink using it.

I'm kind of curious to hear what people are saying re: mouse/kb vs gamepad.
MHW seems like it's built for gamepad, but sometimes even those games are easier with mouse/kb depending on how important precise aiming + fast camera controls + being able to hit tons of buttons at once are.

Keyboard/PC will be beneficial if you intend to write up some macros to say. Autocraft stuff that's depleted for you. Not sure that that is something that will be allowed for speedrunning though. They have lots of very specific rules about stuff like that.

How many runs did that Nergigante take? or in general do you need a lot of prep time to get those perfect runs? Its so crazy to see as someone like me who took 4-6 minutes to kill Nergigante at my best with SnS. I hope you make me feel better and tell me you've done hundreds of Nergigante's.
