Ogre being able to be a rogue is good shit.

Not just because lol Ogres sneaking around, but the archtype of underhanded brutish thug is cool in its own way. Rather than Ogres just being big warriors rocking full plate.

The stealthless marauder (thug) style rogue is something Tales of Maj'Eyal is great for. They should also definitely have different monk attacks!

Nobody would play Ogre in EQ except they have some random OP racial ability. Trolls are the true beauties of the Swamp

I love trolls but when you play a troll shaman vs an ogre shaman it was just so obvious. Ogres can sit there getting hit and cast spells with no problem whatsoever. This is just a massive advantage. I doubt this game will replicate that.

Doorways were always funny for trolls/ogres or seeing them crouched down in your face to trade in Neriak bank. Little things like that put that old 1999 unfinished game into the gaming stratosphere.

Tried to update in crossover and errors out now :-(

May try and just reinstall it all. It updates and stuff, then when it loads into the char select I get a wine error

I'm ready for Hell in a Cell style Freeport/North Ro again. A real fantasy world experience, no carebear guard rails. Best of all, I won't be anywhere near people who don't wanna be near me (and I guess vice versa).

My crossover started to work... or just the new files are happy? whatever, it works - in full screen got 60fps in PoMeat.

I guess servers not live till tomorrow right?

New character creation UI is MUCH nicer - also my UI seems more normal / better in the meat land.

Same. Wood elves are seem to be leaning divinity style part tree. Which is weird, but i'm all for.

Yeah sounds like they got a some good data out of it at least. It's moderately better now, but still pretty bad in comparison to the last go around. I'm pretty confident they'll get it into better shape for the weekend fiesta at the end of the month.

Whew it was rough for me.

FPS was playable, rain knocked me down to 9-11 standard was 20s playable- but the lag on npcs etc was harsh

Killed a rat, so victory was mine

didnt make it out of character creation, loading into game kicked back to character screen, infinite loop
