Got something like that the other day in doing some - I really liked my Tinker build I did though. With and without Tinker managed to pull off a Darksteel Colossus on Turn 4 and with Tinker managed to pull off a DOUBLE Darksteel Colossus on Turn 5. Artifact focused builds can be hilarious.

Even went against a Storm build that went off TWICE, and it survived and owned him. Even with like 3 Upheavals. (Thalia + Lodestone Golem + Clone of Lodestone really gums up Storm)

Best M15 Prerelease of mine so far is my current for pulling cards - 3 mythics - Soul of Shandalar (meh), Nissa and Ajani.

I don't think the mono colored precons will be that popular... but then again, they're probably going to sell just for the legends and planeswalkers to add to other decks.

Maybe my inner 13 year old is just still in love with gold bordered cards.

I'm a HUUUUUUGE Teferi fan, so blue's already sold to me. And the wife is getting back into MTG now with recursion stuff so Gisa is badass for her too. (She's finishing a Haakon knights build for Commander)

WoTC messing around with what can be a commander seems like a poor thing to explore. Would have just rather them changed it to walkers can be commanders and just ban any that are too strong.

I'm still boycotting EDH because Recurring Nightmare is banned. If you can't play sweet cards like Recurring Nightmare what's the point of a format like that?

If you don't play events who cares? Seems so odd to me that EDH has a ban list.

EDH is singleton - Recurring unfortunately (I love the card) pretty much can turn anything into an unlimited number of copies.

Understood but the format is by definition casual. If someone has an abusive deck can't you just tell them to fuck off?

I actually have a mono white EDH deck. It's all tokens and wraths and anthems (and an equipment subtheme.) Everyone laughs at it until I tutor up a Coat of Arms when everyone is tapped out and then murder everyone with 20/20 cat tokens.

I think the mono color decks will be pretty popular, blue especially. It'll be interesting to see if anything makes a legacy slash like TNN did last year.

"casual" is such a wide term. Its just an overused word, it usually means someone is mad.

Or Wizards actually lists Commander under 'Casual' formats in their own promotional materials.

All that means in "Wizards-speak" is that they don't do official prize tournaments for the format.

I have a sudden ridiculous urge to play MTGO again. I have an account but it has relatively few cards from back in Rav block. What's my best route to start up again? Just use the old one and draft, or are there promos or anything I can utilize for a new account?
