I'm happy that the Bearcats have two players (Sean Kilpatrick and Justin Jackson) who might get drafted. I think Kenyon Martin is the only Bearcat in the NBA these days.

I don't see Smart dropping that far. He could have gone 2nd last year and while he didn't improve like people were hoping he would this year, he's not having like a Willie Warren level meltdown. He's a lottery pick this year for sure.

Right now, one of the early mocks has Tyler Ennis dropping to the Raptors, but I don't see that happening either.

Embiid
Randle
Wiggins
Parker
Smart
Ennis
Exum
Gordon

All of those are "locks" to go in the lottery at this point, right? That seems crazy.

Edit* If you're one of those guys, don't you consider staying in college and taking a better shot at #1 next year? Then again, getting drafted by an almost-good team instead of an awful team has its advantages.

As an OU fan, fuck you for reminding me of that dude. I had successfully shut him out of my memory.

Looks like Embiid is awesome and I don't see anyone else as a sure thing. Randle looks like Carlos Boozer, Smart can't shoot, Wiggins is just an athlete right now, I dunno. For BEST DRAFT CLASS EVAR i have been really underwhelmed.

Depends what you mean by "sure thing." It's probably the deepest draft class ever. There might not be a Durant or James, but there's probably 8 future All-Stars. It's impossible to project the difference between an All-Star and a Hall of Famer out of college, though. Work ethic, injuries, inner drive, and just plain luck factor into that.
Embiid does remind me of Hakeem, though. And Hakeem is probably my favorite center ever, so I'd love to see him reach that ceiling.
Someone could draft him #1, Randle #2, then ParkerWiggins #3 and it could be a repeat of the Jordan draft potentially.

Seriously the 8 guys Djay lists are all going to be legit NBA players. Superstars? Who knows. But show me the last draft that had that many legit prospects going into the draft. This is like the least risky draft lottery in the history of the draft.

Dirk and KD both close to joining the 50/40/90 club this year for their 2nd times, Dirk has a much better chance.

Nash isn't 50/40/90 for his career o_O
Right. I realize he is less than a % point away from 50 from the field for HIS ENTIRE GODDAMN CAREER. Mainly I wanted you to shut the fuck up about Dirk in this thread. Dude isn't relevant. Talk about Durant all you want though.

The Celebrity All Star Game has been surprisingly entertaining. Our country's Secretary of Education has some game.

Everyone is a potential lottery pick when the Cavs are involved
lol so true

The Lebron shot is insane, and Iggy's defense was great. I didn't realize who was on him because I saw it on mute on a phone and I was impressed that he went hands up on the shot so early, but Iggy read the play perfectly but he just got the short end

best draft class since 05

How is someone going for a 50/40/90 season not relevant?

Lebron's game winner tonight was sick. GS was dumb to leave so much time on the clock.

On the other hand, that game in Houston was an officiating embarrassment. Well earned "win."

Why the hell dont they just start handing out week long suspensions for this shit? A 10k fine isnt shit to someone making a few million a year.

You know you watched too much Treme when you wonder why none of the artists of the pre-all star games show at New Orleans are from New Orleans!

EDIT: I see now that they saved it for half-time!
