Right. I realize he is less than a % point away from 50 from the field for HIS ENTIRE GODDAMN CAREER. Mainly I wanted you to shut the fuck up about Dirk in this thread. Dude isn't relevant. Talk about Durant all you want though.
You brought up Nash, and are complaining that Dirk's no longer relevant? wtf?

Still salty from the ass whoopin Dirk put on Lebron's heat?

Yeah Dirk and the Mavs just whooped up on the Pacers (and won 7 of 8 before All-Star Break) and he's top10 in PER right now - still pretty relevant.

Because he is acting like 50/40/90 for a season is so fucking amazing. Nash has almost done that for an entire career. Much more impressive.

Completely. I'd have much rather LeBron won one title and then fell into irrelevance like Dirk and the Mavs instead of winning back to back (and a chance for 3 straight) with LeBron winning two straight Finals MVPs and 4 of the last 5 MVPs...

Damn it...I got that whole draft class derail going to get away from talking about Lebron and now you got him going again.

I was on the phone for most of the 2nd half of the All-Star game. Kyrie got MVP? Derozan was robbed.

Someone posted an article mentioning that KD and Dirk were close to being 50/40/90 for the 2nd time in their careers, so fuck off.

It's no worse than your Dwayne Wade dick riding.

LET'S TALK ABOUT LEBRON AGAIN. It's been seven posts or some shit.

Also, could we please get Rondo traded? I'd like to see one of these rumors pan out at some point.

They must be asking a ton, because it seems like every team has asked about him.

Everyone trying to pull off a Harden trade.

Knicks are asking about Lowry again...but still not willing to part with anyone good. I honestly don't know if the front office could sell the trade to the fanbase if they offered us Hardaway AND a 1st rounder at this point. We're sitting at #3 and he's the biggest part of that. If he had made the trade at the same time as the Rudy Gay one, it would have been fine, but not now. If Toronto makes any moves at the deadline, I'll be surprised.

Yeah. Lowry is seriously playing out of his mind this year. The real question for that team is how quickly do they think it's going to take Jonas V to develop. He's already pretty productive, especially for a guy that's just 21, but he should end up the center piece of that team at some point. If that's in 2 years, resigning Lowry might make sense. If that's in 4 years, trading him now probably nets the most value.

I think Valanciunas is really close. What worries me the most are his hands...he fumbles too many balls away that should have been easy scores. He's doing a better job at catching and keeping the ball high than at the start of the year. He seems a step off on defense some times and that probably leads to foul troubles.
Lowry gets on him and is probably one reason he's developed this year, so I think if the consideration is JV's development, he should stay. My concern is that this is a contract year. Is Lowry on good behavior this year or has he matured and this next-gear is something that will continue. The guy leads the league in charges taken. Will that continue when he isn't playing for a contract? That's my concern.

Ha...right after I post that, I watch Valanciunas make two boneheaded plays at the end of the game and they had to take him out.
He got the inbound, then got nervous with the ball in his hands and made a bad pass to Lowry. Then on defense he leaves Nene to run out to double someone at the 3-point line, leaving Nene wide open.

Those mental errors should hopefully lessen with experience. It's infuriating now, though.

He looks like an uncoordinated version of Pekovic. Like a slavic St. Bernard puppy. Good numbers lately though.

I never hated Bargnani like some Raptors fans. I think we ruined him by insisting on playing him at Center instead of developing him as a Dirk-lite at PF.
Still...this is funny.
