The outcome, and this loss, wasdirectlya cause of the referees missing calls - however it WAS 100% BECAUSE OF that particular missed call with under a minute to play. Not to mention Bosh hits a 3 after that. Which would've gave the Heat a 2 point lead not even counting Wade's shot.
I won't even get into the BLATANT and EGREGIOUS fouls the Pacers were committing that weren't called or the travesty of justice that was calling a flagrant on LeBron on an offensive fucking play.
If you're LeBron it's okay for people to break your nose (no call), chop at your face/shoulders (regular foul), and fucking tackle you from behind around the neck (regular foul) however if you adjust your shot in mid-air to get around 7'2" bitch face Hibbert who ABUSES THE FUCK out of the verticality rule, it's flagrant.
The ONLY way a team can beat the heat 4 games out of 7 is A) shitty officiating and B) shitty officiating. Period. The Pacers are chumps and they try to beat the Heat the way the Pistons tried to beat the Bulls - by bullshit dirty play. They do this because they aren't good enough otherwise. Their offense is garbage and they know it.

So I promise I'm not trying to get into some major argument here, but I enjoy the discussion.
I'll concede that same player + better surroundings has also lead to marginally better output. You can see this even more when he was the 3rd option on the 08 Warriors behind Baron Davis and Jackson. But that season was an absolute aberration compared to every other year of his career.
All I'm saying is even if Dirk has marginally increased Monta's production, he's still not a good player. The facts you point to just tell me he takes a massive volume of shots in the paint but doesn't convert them at comparable rate to the more elite scorers in the league. And his especially poor Free Throw Rate being passed off as "well people just don't foul him" doesn't make a ton of sense to me. I don't doubt that you watch a ton of Mavs games (you obviously do), but this isn't really comparable to any other player in the league. It's far more likely he doesn't like contact as it makes so little sense for someone to lead the league in drives to the rim but to be so low in FTR. Maybe I'm wrong here but I don't think it's likely.
As far as his turnovers go, I can't just be ok with saying his 3 a game "is not that high". Here's a list of starters with high usage:

Notice where Monta is on the list sorting by Turnover Rate, then compare his Assist Rate to anyone else around him. So sure, he compares to Wade and Harden from a playmaking standpoint, but both of those guys are much more efficient scorers. I don't think there's much argument for calling Monta efficient from any perspective of the game. 19 and 6 looks good on paper, but those numbers don't end up being that great when you consider how often he has the ball in his hands.

Wade's D in his prime far surpassed Ellis. Also, Wade is a far more efficient scorer, even with Ellis having a good year.

He straddled the arc. He had one foot outside the three point line so it would have been possible to make his outside foot his pivot foot and shoot a three without moving.
Of course, what he actually did was move both feet, so that should have been called a travel

I'm not talking about just the finals. Running roughshod through the first 2-3 rounds allows your stars to rest and your team to not accumulate as many floor minutes. The question behind the post was if the same Miami teams would have won the ECF and Finals if they had to play against the top 16 in the league, which would have consisted of 12+ from the WC each of those years.

Not to mention more series against OKC, Houston, Memphis. I'm a big time LBJ fan boy too, but your unabashed love for him causes so much blindness it's silly.
KD would never have let his team mate shoot the final shot of an important game. At least Spolestra knows that LBJ isn't clutch.

Not arguing for or against you here, but that is just a ridiculous statement to make. How many more games has he played than Westbrook this year? The dude has been out for most of the season.
The Thunder aren't my team. LBJ is known for passing up late game opportunities. He just doesn't have the mindset like Kobe and Jordan did where he wants the last shot. I think KD and Melo are better scorers and welcome clutch moments.
