Basically a breakdown of the talent level of the supporting class of the best player for Finals teams for the past thirty or so years (feel free to disagree with their methodology but it's interesting to me). Hakeem's '94 team was the least talented winner, according to that. Lebron's 07 and 15 Finals teams are equivalent in talent and second/third from the bottom. Warriors are 14th best.

It also makes it pretty clear the difference between this year's Cleveland team and the 07 one is negligible.

I think they don't get enough credit with too many people chalking it up to the Heat just not having had enough time together. The truth is the Mavs were just clearly a better overall team where all the players had a role and did well in it.

Cavs size is a problem but helps that GS can't hit shit to start. Cavs better take advantage before the splash brothers get hot.
