No team with a perennial MVP candidate will ever win an MVP. Who knows what Kyrie would be capable of if he was the primary go-to guy on a team. Team probably wouldn't be good, but he could be amazing individually.

The NBA needs to reseed the playoffs and fuck off with this West/East shit. Not that it'd change much this year but I don't think Cleveland beats a healthy Spurs team either.

It's amazing seeing a guy like AI come of the bench for GS, and by amazing I mean stupid.

Oh it was retarded back then and there have been plenty of complaints about it. These are the worst playoffs I've ever barely watched in my entire life.

1 down 3 to go.

The only excitement this Finals has for me is how much can LeBron pad his all time playoff stats.

Oh and then after when we see who else jumps on the gravy train to a ring in GSW.

Maybe Chris Paul or Carmelo Anthony!

Correct, but super teams used to consist of 3 great players, and even that is borderline retarded.
It will always be a problem when the field is only 5 guys and the salary caps are what they are.

I am liking the tears of the LeBron cock gobblers. Bet their tune changes if LeBron jumps to the Warriors as well.

I fucking hope so!

Should have LeBron, CP3, Carmelo, Harden and The Brow on the bench next season.

Minimize the drop from starters to bench.

Think of it less minutes for LeBron, extend his career and ultra stat padding against scrubs.

I smell a 6th man of the year award.

Could probably ride them to 5 more rings, making him have 8 total and putting him at 8-5 overall.

Such a great idea!

Let me know when either Kyrie or Love win an MVP and the Cavs add another allstar in his prime.

That's not fair. This wasn't the first super team and they allowed all the others. Heats 3 all stars from 2011-14 looked a lot fucking better than Thompson has most of this year. If you look at the game, 2 guys for both teams did the primary scoring but even GS's bench beat the most expensive roster in BBall. I want a ring for McGee!!

This isn't some new phenomena or I'd be right beside you. The NBA decided the cult of personality was more important than the aspect of team building. They wanted more MJ types for sales and forgot about the awesome Pistons, Celtics, Lakers, and even Bulls teams. All they talk about is maybe 30 players out of 450. It's all about Lebron, Curry, Harden, etc than the Rockets, Cavs, etc. They want the personal drama, scoring, and cult of personality and after allowing other super teams, this isn't that much further down the rabbit hole. I don't even have a favorite team because they don't give a shit. It's time for KD and maybe I'll focus on someone else next year.

Or maybe I'll enjoy this Warriors team pulling a Trump and shitting on Obama James for 4 more years lol.(This sounds the most fun)

Stop with the roster shit.

If Curry wasn't on his broken ankles contract they'd be fucked.

Even with Durant taking less once Curry gets thr supermax this off-season if they keep everyone they'll be paying more than Cavs minus repeat offender tax which they'll have in 2 or 3 seasons.

it's funny GS gets called a super team but some of the players (Klay Thompson) wouldn't be considered a star anywhere else

I agree the super team phenomenon is not new, but the current extent of it is and I want them to make some changes. Basketball was my favorite sport as a kid, and it is by far my favorite sport to play, but this is fucking dumb. In the NFL a team from fucking Green Bay, WI is one of the most storied and successful franchises in the history of the league. That is a fucking pipedream in the NBA and it's just turning into a shittier and shittier product every year.

If Kyle Korver can make the All-Star team with the Atlanta Hawks, so can Klay Thompson.

Too many teams, not enough stars. Anyways, we've probably got another 4-5 years of GS wrecking everybody so strap in.

Klay Thompson is absolutely a star anywhere else. This team already won a championship and 73 fucking games last year before adding Durant.
