I know virtually NOTHING about Heyward. Is this guy really that good? Seems athletic enough, and a great shot. Can he create his own shot, or are we running screens and picks all day? Is he top 25? Top 10?
He's definitely not top 10. You could probably make a case for 30. He can create his own shot. He should take pressure off IT. He's a good, not great, defender.
He's also improved a lot since he came in the league. He definitely struggled a lot creating his own shot in his early years and his three was a lot less reliable. So, he's a hard worker.

ESPN's NBA rank had him #34 at the beginning of this season, and after this year I imagine he is right at Top 25. Dude can play. Good offensive player, who plays solid defense. I think it's a fantastic get for them. The cream of the crop of either Tatum or Brown will rise and play along side him (it will be Tatum).
The bigger deal is that Horford and now Heyward have broken that stereotype that NBA stars won't sign in Boston. Before everything was draft or trade. Now big name guys are picking Boston. Huge.
It just depends on how good the team is right now. Big markets are not the in thing anymore, it's all about rings.
Of course, now people are bitching that this is a bad thing
No, he got Rodman to leave the Bad Boys and join the Bulls.
Of course, they were smarter back then and had Rodman do a stop in San Antonio first while Jordan played baseball to throw everyone off.
