My question would be how much it was nerfed by, and did they also nerf drop rates (which I am hearing they did)
Only number I've heard is 85% which seems a bit high and may be an exaggeration. But people are saying that even for long quests you get like 1-2 bars of xp. And that, yes, loot drops have been lowered significantly as well.

Can't really say how much they were nerfed because I never did one of the "ogre maps" before the change. However, I did one now with 50 ogres in it and got about 10-15% of a level at level 22 for doing it solo. Given that it took about 15 min kill all of them I would say that regular questing is better exp. Definitely a lot less loot than regular questing as well. While I found this particular mission frightfully dull it would be a bit sad if the real foundry missions end up not being played due to lack of rewards now.

Well, considering that you would get like 2 levels for that before the nerf, I guess 85% is about right.

I never understood why devs really care if people by-pass leveling content. If people are playing your game, and enjoying it, whether its for a day or thirty, who cares? As long as the exploits are not effecting other players it doesn't matter to me. So what if people hit level 60 in a day? Some people just want to grind those epic dungeons.
Wasted resources, less attachment to avatar, increased likelihood for players to get bored if they run out of content, ensuring the game is engaging, economy control. Why does the leveling effort matter at all? If we started at level 60 would we feel the same investment in our characters and the game, everything else being the same? If nothing else, it's a proven, successful model.

Yeah, server took a poopy.

From reading the blues comments on the patch notes it was supposed to be a nerf which would affect the "ogre romp" style foundry quests but supposedly other foundry quests "Shouldn't be affected". Of course that is being said by the person who doesn't want the forums calling for his gonads on a stick.

Bah and I just got my wiz to 15. I rerolled my character because I wasn't thinking when I initially made her to max out the rolls on Intelligence and Charisma. A Tiefling with 18 starting charisma has around 8% or 9% crit chance opposed to my other one with 4%.

Thought my days of server maintenance interrupting play time for an mmo were WELL in the past. Nope. For a f2p game at that.... what the fuck!

Anyone deal with customer support yet? Having an account security issue and can't really do much until its fixed. Hoping it won't take too long, but their CS seems sketchy.

Anyone themselves or one their friends get banned for the ogre foundry fiasco?

Seems PWE has made it know if you ever did one of those type of foundry zones they can ban or may already have banned your account, lol...

I only grinded them for about 15 levels and didn't get banned. I don't know how true the reports are tbh. For example I also did the exploit posted last page on a throwaway account to get a GWF to 52 in an hour and it's still not banned(been a day now). Hell they haven't even fixed the exploit yet. So maybe they're just very slow due to being overworked, or they have no way to track that shit and they're using dummies and rumors to scare people off. Or maybe they're only looking for lvl 60s with low /played so I didn't pop in their searches.
