My guess is this is another overreaction AGS did when they revamped stuff between beta and now. You used to be able to do it before level 20 (I think I did it at 18 or 19). It was hard, but doable. But yeah, now it's level 24.
They must have really hated everyone running around in faction gear during the betas. Now faction gear is fucking worthless. I'm not even sure the max stuff will be worthwhile since it's so expensive tokens-wise.

That's the quest I was talking about earlier; its a level 20 quest but the area is level 26+ so good luck doing it before level 24. You then can buy level 25 gear afterwards. It's not as good as it was during the closed beta but still pretty good. Before, though, it was BIS seemingly under level 30 over what was dropping.

There is a quest you need to do at lv 24, then at 35 then after that at 50. even though the quest says lv20 you need to be lv24 to progress it further. The gear is ok but I found out early that most of it gets replaced by shit theat drops, including greens, so IMO its not worth until later. Just buy the weapons and bag thingie. After you do the lv35 quest it opens up for 420 ilvl gear, which is not bad, but still it will be quickly replaced and the chest piece costs something like 12K tokens, lol. Mobs around lv40 strt dropping ilvl410-420 gerar so is it wort it? up to you but the shit gets expensive.

The pyramid style crafting is really, really weird. I see people botting Starmetal ore and shit, but like, they'd be WAY more profitable botting Iron Ore unless they have enough luck to get epic/legendary resources from it. The fact you need something like 64 iron ore to every 1 starmetal is pretty ridiculous and I sent a bunch of suggestion shit about it in beta and alpha, but it really hasn't been TOO awful. The main thing is to stick to iron spots outside the newb zone because only the lazy and the botters really hit that shit up. I found some places in higher zones with a LOT of fast respawning iron that no one even bothers to stop by and mine. I was hoping that iron would become increasingly abundant as you went to higher zones and I don't think that much is true as much as people don't bother with it at that point so it's more available.
Of course, when the REAL crafting begins everyone will have their 50% reduced iron weight, +45% yield +5k luck, +5% rare chance mining suits, and 1300 carry weight with their 750% speed Orichalcum picks out and that shit will be wild. Can't wait!

So today logged in at 6 pm and Vingolf had a 270 queue. Much better.
Also my outfit looks like an ancient Egyptian BDSM god.
The UI bug needs to be fixed ASAP. Second time it has happened to me now. You can loot anything or interact with any objects. No fast travel no skinning no mining no nothing. You have to log out to fix it.

I have had a lvl 13 quest in my log forever. The mobs are lvl 23 in the area.

Starting to get the hang of pvp. Got my first kill today, and almost killed all 3 in a 3v 1.
I also solod a lvl 35 archer/rapier and gave him a very good fight got him down to like 1/4th health before i died. (Im lvl 22) I switched back to bow when I got him low and should of just stood sword and dodged. Oh well, the fact that Im holding my own in every fight is exciting! The 3 v 1 was tough because one of the enemy players tried to heal his buddy who I was killing and instead healed me causing me to finish his buddy.

Anyone who is lvl 50 plus is....impressive? I dont know how you are able to get in all that playing time and almost max level in a week.
Flying through levels doesnt really get you much. Im not hating at all, if I could be lvl 50 I would, it just sucks there isnt enough content.

Seen quite a lot of 50+ people doing portal runs. To be honest, the exp is just significantly better than anything else (almost 41). Even doing level 25 ones in First Light dwarfs questing. Got into a good level 45 one in Restless and the exp bar was flying.
Only had to leave because the wife was getting antsy since I've been playing all day. They're also good to throw on an unused weapon and level it up.
And like I said, it's the best way to get zone reputation, and it's also decent for getting gear since you'll end up with dozens of chests.
I'd guess it gets nerfed in a week or two.

Only good in a small group, unless you have strong AoE while in a zerg. Did a few rifts in a large group (20+) and never got credit for any of them.
And bisons...
Use Axe Gravity Well, and its semi range. Things get stucked and bash away!
