Well this is what the 3rd time he has had this issue? It's not really the same. Still though the commissioner really fucked himself with that stupid 2 game punishment of Rice.

Yeah, don't get me wrong I am not necessarily saying it isn't deserved. Simply that people are going to equate it that way because the Ray Rice suspension was such a hot button topic. And like you said, Goodell fucked himself there

I'd be surprised at anything more than a 2 game suspension. Kenny Britt was suspended for 1 game and he was arrested 8 times.

Yeah, maybe. Goodell did also claim that Smith taking his self imposed 5 game leave could contribute to him having less of a suspension this year. I guess we will see.

Nothing is going to take away the suspicion in people's minds about the Patriots SBs, especially when all the fucking evidence disappeared.

Hines Ward even mentioned in the AFC title games how the Pats D was calling out their plays. No, that wasn't from work ethic. So yea, if Brady doesn't win another one, all of them will be asterisked in folks minds. Stop trying to rationalize it.
