Wow, Blane Gabbert wasn't just a product of a horrible Jaguars team. In actuality, he's just awful.
Which is why I am surprised they are pulling him out. Unless there is an actual fight for the backup QB it sure seems like they should leave Gabbert in for some more work.

Everyone on SFGate is screaming about how Greg Roman sucks because everyone knows that the first preseason game is where the offensive coordinator really shines.

I really hate my fucking cable. The only game they showed tonight was the Cowboys game and only in SD. Fucking whores.

I don't think they have much more of a chance than that between the Seahawks, 49ers, Broncos, Patriots, Saints, etc., but they have the Bears as last in the division. What the hell!?! Unless Cutler dies in Week 1, how do they not top the Vikings at least.

And did I miss it or are we not talking about Hard Knocks? I'm not subscribed to HBO at the moment, and reviews suggest there is no reason to...

Never heard the seahawks picked up Pryor. 3rd string on a Superbowl team probable feels better than first on the raiders, not that he was gonna be first I guess

SD version is on the torrents I was waiting for hd before grabbing it. Haven't seen reviews yet for it but enjoyed the other years.

BTN has 1080i version up. Not on IP yet.

I don't think the Bears win the Superbowl, but putting them behind the Vikings and Lions in the division is pretty insane. That is of course assuming they stay healthy and the guys brought in defensively produce like they should. Packers are still the favorites for the NFC North title, but I don't think the bears (at least on paper) are all that far behind them. I feel like a solid shot at the wild card is not beyond expectations.

One if not both of the Wildcards are coming out of the West this year for sure

Both? Not gonna happen. the Cardinals and Rams are almost guaranteed 4 losses between the 2 games w/ the Seahawks & 49ers.... and it's not like they're going to go 10-0 outside of the division.

49'ers sure as shit didn't beat the rams last year, both times.

49ers didnt beat the Rams the year before either. If Bradford + Rams receivers make the leap this year, they could win the NFC....its a big if, but everything else is in place aside from maybe a bit of safety help. Britt seems to be beasting in camp, and supposedly this Donald kid taken 13th overall is making 1st string OL look bad and pushing the pocket constantly.

They should be a fun team to watch this year.

Actually, yes they did.
Week 4 - 49ers 35 Rams 11
Week 13 - 49ers 23 Rams 13

However, the year prior to that they lost to them and tied them.

rookie De'Anthony Thomas(Oregon) had his 1st NFL punt return last night...

he's slightly fast. And nice balance recovering from having a defender and his own player run into him right as he caught the punt.

Nice to see my neighbors to the east making big plays at the same time the Cowgirls get crushed.

Reports coming out that the 49ers are expecting a 6-8 game suspension of Aldon Smith. I can only assume that if he does indeed get that long people are going to be up in arms over the punishment due to the Ray Rice fiasco.
