Elurin when the patriots finish the year 13-3, saying they had a 50/50 chance of making the playoffs is going to look pretty dumb.

Not to mention as of right now they have the #4 defense in the league.

Reading comprehension. I didn't say they had a 50/50 shot of making the playoffs, I saidIwas 50/50 on whether I think they'll make them. As in, I'm day to day on whether I think they're a playoff caliber team.

Oh, and really? Stats after 2 games? The Redskins are ranked #1 defense and #5 offense in yards. Guess the Redskins are going to the Super Bowl!

I doubt it. The Patriots of the last 15 years have never been a team to stick with a player once their play starts to decline. Maybe Brady will be different, but I doubt it.

Honestly, how many quarterbacks retire with the team they had success with?

Only ones I can think of are Marino, Elway, and Kelly.

Edit: It's possible that Brady just outright retires as opposed to going to another team. But I've got to imagine some bottom dweller offers him a substantial amount of money to come play for them, especially after the Manning success.
Manning played because his entire life is football. I dont see Brady being that intense. He is probably gonna finish counting up his money, retire and ride off into the sunset with Giselle. I think he's smart enough to see that going to play somewhere else for 1-2 more years doesnt typically pan out: see Favre, Montana and usually hurts your legacy more than helps it.

Patriots are already grooming Jimmy Garoppolo as a replacement. I think he's out of the same school as Tony Romo so one can only hope that continues the proud Romo legacy of half a dozen picks in one game.

Yep probably got injured due to a severe lack of swol. Need to get those discount double check guys to pump him up.

I could see Brady switching teams if the Patriots were going into full on rebuilding mode and there was some other team that was a quarterback away from contending for a superbowl and wanted to give him a huge bag of money. I'm sure he would like to have one more ring to tie Joe Montana.

Joe is 4/4 in Superbowls, there will be no tie!!!
I agree, but I'm sure he would like another ring nonetheless. The fact that he's going on 10 years since his last SB victory definitely tarnishes his legacy.

Brady is always going to make the playoffs but I don't see another SB victory in his future. As for his legacy yea it's tarnished....losing to Eli "Aw Shucks Goober" Manning twice did him in, He went from Greatest ever to a really great QB.
