He didn't really miss much time the first 2 years, essentially playing two full seasons (until being shut down by Shanahan). A QB in their third year shouldn't be struggling like Griffin does. I enjoy reading articles that break down plays, and this is pretty damning.

Injuries can??Tt explain away QB Robert Griffin III??Ts ongoing struggles | The MMQB with Peter King
Peter King...really?

The guy needs an offseason and to stay on the field. Take the next few weeks staying in the pocket and working with recievers. No running. Fall down on sacks like manning.

He had an offseason, and then he came out in preseason and looked like dog shit. But everyone said, "Just be patient, it was vanilla preseason offense and he'll look better." Go into the season though and he still looks like dog shit. It's not just Peter King. Lots of other people are analyzing the film and he just looksbad.

You're like the RG3 apologists on Extremeskins. "Just give RG3 another year! It's a new system and he's rusty." Meanwhile McCoy hasn't played in years and comes in without an offseason, and fuck, without any first team reps, and wins. Same with Cousins. And I don't think anyone is calling them world beaters.

Jay Gruden_sl said:
"Robert had some fundamental flaws," Gruden said of Griffin's game Sunday in a 27-7 loss to Tampa Bay. "His footwork was below average. He took three-step drops when he should have taken five. He took a one-step drop when he should have taken three, on a couple occasions, and that can't happen. He stepped up when he didn't have to step up and stepped into pressure. He read the wrong side of the field a couple times. So from his basic performance just critiquing Robert it was not even close to being good enough to what we expect from the quarterback position."

You retards still want to tell me more about how Gronk isn't playing the TE position better than anyone in history right now?

That's weird because he's already better than anyone who's ever lined up at the position.

Without even a question or conversation.

That cannot possibly be real. No way Catler is voted most likely anything except to be kicked out of the NFL.

When will the trolling stop?
Trust me buddy, this is how normal Patriot fans act. Don't worry their team will be garbage in a year or two and he'll go the way of Cathan and vanish. When that time comes all that we'll have to do is have Uber's perma-ban reenacted and we'll be clean.

Also how is Luck not the 1:1 favorite to win MVP?

The Colts might not win a game without him.
By that logic how is Gronk not in the running for MVP? If he truly is the Michael Jordan of the league then the Patriots would be garbage without him.

How does Brady take to being Scotty Pippen, or rather is Brady Dennis Rodman while Bellicheat is Pippen?

The patriots would be much worse without Gronk, yes. Probably so much worse they'd end up losing out on home field advantage to the Broncos (which they still might)

So isn't a little more egregious that Gronk isn't even in the running, as opposed to the odds on Cutler?

After all, he's obviously the Most Valuable Player of the Patriots.

Graham and Gronk have like 100:1 odds.

Serious question would it even be possible for a true TE to be highly considered for it? Half of the snaps Gronk plays he's blocking, and actually blocking extremely well.

Blocking isn't going to win you an MVP though. A TE like J. Thomas if he went off for an entire season MIGHT truly be considered. He really is lining up like a WR most of the time and has an opportunity to get the needed numbers.

The real question is, if Gronk was playing for the Wiza ... Redskins, would RGIII be better than Andrew Luck? I mean RGIII probably would be in the MVP running right now and Gronk still not. This is some bullshit biased against TEs.

I expect that the NFL won't be able to classify some of these guys as tight ends in the future though. It's pretty stupid that Graham, Gronk, J. Thomas, Olsen etc.. would be paid a lesser amount than wide receivers if they're franchised because of their position.

So if the Pats franchise Lafell he gets like 7 million more than Gronk? Right, perfect.

Yeah I agree, the Patriots should avoid the franchise tag for Gronk and pay him Calvin Johnson money. I mean clearly he's worth it.

With Tom at age 38 i hope they pay him til Kraft's bankrupt. There's a tight window to win again. Apparently it's open this year, but who knows about even next season.
