Against a division rival, on the road, in primetime, not to "kick a field goal and then take the credit" but to score the points to win the game.

there's a crazy stat ill re-google to find that says since the Brady era the pats win 92.5% of the games they're picked as underdogs in.

That's pretty much the same as his career win %. Also that's just against the spread, not actual WINS.

Pats are an elite franchise that wins 11+ games every year and has been to 5 Super Bowls. Only idiots and sportwriters think they look at betting lines and win games because of the motivation from them.

It's always a good time watching RG3 get sacked. It's great to have Aldon Smith back and as crazy as it is they don't really miss Bowman and Willis that much. I don't know how Borland became such an animal right out of the gates but he seems unstoppable. They have won 3 games in a row with almost no help from the offense. It sort of seems like trying to make Kaep into a pocket passer has just made him less effective at running and scrambling. They have always been a team that wins on defense but this next stretch of games coming up is going to be fucking rough. If they don't beat Seattle on Turkey day it's hard to see them making the playoffs.

as a pats fan,

their defense is playing better than i have seen them play for ~10 years. recently the defense's lack of being able to make that crucial stop prevented them from winning it all. This year- at least so far- they HAVE been able to prevent the crucial 3rd down conversion or give up a field goal vs a touchdown, which is why in my opinion- barring injuries- they most likely will get to the divisional finals and most likely be at home for that game. they have beaten all the afc division leaders -rather handily- as well. since the KC debacle they had, the O-Line has solidified, allowing brady time to throw, the secondary also has gelled with the addition of browner into the CB position, allowing better coverage, allowing the line to get to the QB, etc.

Nope, we're not Pats fans so it's not a fact that 95% of our fans didn't give a shit about us until 12 years ago.


Though of course this is just internet fun. I know I went in to it on the old board a few times but bandwagons get a bad rap. New fans of a team have to come from somewhere. If 10 million people jumped on the bandwagon in 2002 and 1 million of them are still fans when the Pats suck donkey dick in 2017 that's a million hardcore fans that have been with the team for 15 years. Fandom isn't something that can only be inherited, it has to start somewhere. Doesn't mean you're not going to get shit for it for a long time(basically until the Pats suck again), but that's just normal fan behavior. Because fuck you for liking another team.


It's exaggerated in the case of NE fans(all sports) because such a high percentage of you seem to confirm every shitty stereotype about your fanbase.
