No I understand the reason and the rule its just stupid. If he some how didn't get his knees down on the ground could he have gotten up and run? Of course not because he was down.

Also Smith is closer to the playoffs than the 49ers so not throwing stones at your betters.
Oh. My. God.

Huge win - showed real guts to pull that out. Dez is a fucking monster - best receiver in the league not named Calvin.

Green, Brown, and maybe even Beckham are all better than Dez. Dez could be up there if he wasn't such a shitty ass teammate.

I dunno, the way he was yelling at the defense the other week makes him seem like a pretty bad teammate.
You mean like that time they showed Dez yelling at the offense and people talked shit about Dez and then it turns out he was mic'd up and everyone stfu and tried to forget what he was actually saying? Yeah same shit, stupid people who don't actually follow the Cowboys and listens to the haters and doesn't get the truth. Dez is trying to fire people up and encourage them but because he is a WR and WR are known for being divas so if they are animated they are diva's no matter what or how stupid the people saying the shit are.

I get it people listen to the talking heads and the talking heads love to trash on Dallas, if the Cowboys lost the game they would have said Romo is 1-7 in win or go home games but this game which everyone knew damn near eliminates them won't count the game now that he won just like when he won the game after the injury that caused him to have surgery and if they lose the last game against Philly means nothing, it was a win or go home game but Romo won so they don't count it. They like to feed the narrative and spoon feed that bullshit to the people who don't follow the Cowboys but love to hate on them, its like watching Fox news and expecting to be informed truthfully or informed at all.

Well, looking forward to next year for the 49ers. Really worried about what coach they are going to bring in. I understand Harbaugh grates on people, but fuck me if he didn't turn that team around. Yes, Roman needs to go, but he was not the only problem this year. The offensive line was decimated and never had a chance to gel together.

I can only assume Crabtree walks, and probably Iupati as they will both want too much money. I hope they are able to sign Gore so he can retire a 49er, but at the same time if he can go to a contender and get a ring, that would be cool too.

Feels like such a wasted season.
The 49ers have been really lucky with injuries since Harbaugh's arrival and that came to an end this year. Not saying that there aren't other problems because there are, but they had really significant injuries all year in a lot of key positions. They literally have nothing to play for now and would be better off to lose out and improve their draft position while also making Seattle less likely to get home field by losing to the Cardinals.

It will be interesting to see who they bring in to coach. It really is a pretty great situation to come into as a coach because there is so much talent on the defense. I'm sure Kaepernick will be around for at least one more year but it's already been proven that you can win with him and a solid defense/running game. I doubt anybody will have any delusions about turning him into a pocket passer again after this season. He just doesn't have the accuracy, touch, or ability to read the field but if you play to his strengths and focus on the running game and keep the defense playing at a high level the results can be very good.

William Gay has 3 int returns for a TD this year. Got me wondering what the record was/ I kind of assumed Ed Reed would have it because I swear to God that motherfucker seemed to take every pick he got to the house. But his highest was only 2 somehow.

Far as I can tell Ken Houston, for Houston, with 4 in 1971 is the record. Equaled by Eric Allen for Philly in 1993 and Jim Kearney in '73 for KC.

The reason I mention it is because thelist of non-offensive TD's in a seasonhas a 2 way tie for 1st, with 6. Devin Hester as a rookie in 2006 returned 3 punts, 2 kicks, and a missed field goal(108 yards). Tied with him is Devin Hester as a second year player in 2007 when he returned 4 punts and 2 kicks.

Young Devin Hester was fucking insane.

Old Devin Hester is still good, what fucking surprises me is how he managed to get to the NFL before someone decided to put him at WR blows my fucking mind. Imagine how great he would have been had he not had to learn how to be a WR in the NFL.

If GB somehow loses to the Bucs it doesn't affect their rankings, but if they lose to the Lions week 17 they fall to the 6th seed.

Also AFC North is seemingly the best division this year. Unless you're still a believer in the 9ers

Seems like a whole lot of reasonable scenarios where Cin/Bal/Pit all go. Of course this division played the NFC south this season too.

As long as the Seahawks win out they give no fucks about your shitty ass team diving to the Cardinals
