This feels like a random super bowl year. I'm going Denver/Dallas with the Cowboy's winning, Peyton retiring in shame, and Jerrah auto-erotic asphyxiating with four cheerleaders and Jason Garret's wife the next morning.

As much as would like to see Romo get a ring, the ensuing thread would probably be unreadable for a while. I'm going for the low hanging fruit in the nfc and saying Seattle makes it to the big game where they get trounced by the oh so sexy big Ben and his jolly band of bumblebees (they will be wearing the throwbacks).

Our Dallas fans haven't been nearly as horrible as you'd expect based on their history. I think they're waiting for the other shoe to drop. If they get cocky Dez will blow out both knees or Romo's spine will turn to liquid and he'll shit it out at midfield.

So if they did win the Super Bowl and didn't have that dread hanging over their heads anymore the floodgates would be open. This thread would be Andy Dufresne's escape route, except none of us would come out clean on the other side.

I think Itlan being a petulant little shit stain of man after the Giants winning showed people how to never act, if anything during the regular season of next year we might talk a bit more shit but I don't see it getting bad but who knows I've been wrong a lot...just not when it comes to Cutler.

I really hope Kenny Albert knew what was going on with his shirt when he wore it o the air. Because that would make him kind of awesome.

Apparently when Fox cut back to them later the sweaters were both MIA. Someone noticed=P

edit: Of course theywerein Miami where it was like 80, maybe they took them off due to heat...

There isnt a single benchmark by which Romo is #1 right now
Butthurt level 9000. Romo has the best completion % and best Quarterback rating in the league. He's second only to Aaron Rodgers in TD:Int ratio (4:1). I'll have your avatar ready by Christmas.

Well, since Dallas has already locked up a playoff spot, I assume they still lose the last game of the season (in typical Dallas fashion) and fuck themselves out of the #1 seed.
#1 went out the window when both GB and Detroit won. One of them needed to win and the other lose, then reverse the results next week for Dallas to have a shot at #1. As it stands they are locked into #3 unless both Seattle and Arizona lose next week, in which case they can only get #2 seed.

If Seattle wins out and the lions/packers don't tie then it doesn't matter if Dallas wins. I think the Sunday night broadcast and post game only said this ten times.
I forgot that the Packers/Lions are also sitting at 4 losses. For some reason, I stupidly thought they both had 5.

Kenny Albert used to do ALL of the 49er games back when they were terrible. I hated that man so much I would listen to the game on mute sometimes. That said, a carrot penis on national TV is sort of cool.

Between Araysar's trolling in the Michael Brown thread and the Ukraine thread, the implosion of Jay Catler into Jeff George and the ascension of Romo to top 3 QB status, I have figured out that Araysar is trying to get himself RRP'd for the rest of the winter so he doesn't have to show off the hideous Catler avatar everyone knows is inevitable. Well played my friend, well played.

They flexed the fucking GB/Det Game to the afternoon slot, which pisses me off. First, it likely means I won't get to watch it at home since Fox will locally televise the Arizona/San Fran shit show instead in Cali. Second, it helps Detriot out by playing when the sun is still up and its not as cold. Instead we get to see Cinci take a giant shit on national TV again. One would think that a game with #1 or 2 seed ramifications would be more interesting than a "who gets the last wild card spot" game with one team that is guaranteed to play horrifically.

As for the playoffs, just crown the Seahawks now. Unless Jeff Fischer pulls the mother of all trolls next week, they have the top seed in the NFC. And we all know in the playoffs that the kind of envelope pushing shit that Seattle has been piling up flags with all year tends to get called less, so they will be mugging QBs and Receivers all the way through Tom Brady to their second title. Dallas is the only team to beat them in their own house all year, but they will likely have to beat both Lions at home (likely) and GB in Lambeau (not likely) to even get to that point. Also, everyone get ready for the hilarity of a losing record division champion Panthers ending the Cardinals dreams in two weeks....

You have the internet, you will be ok. Also its about ratings and people give a shit more about two teams fighting for the same spot in the playoffs more than teams fighting for seeding, sorry its just the way it is.

Just realized the Steelers have clinched already, I agree shit game to flex.

If Cinci actually makes a good show of things this evening, I will take back my statement, but as it stands they are one of the worst teams to watch in prime time (unless you enjoy the comedy of it) and have gotten trounced even when heavily favored. And I am not relying on the internet, Cox has been spotty the last couple weeks, to say the least.

I like to think, that were I in his financial position, I'ddo the same

I grew up very poor, and to this day pay my mom's rent to keep her housed. I love stories showing this kind of generosity

Not to say that the Cowboys have not had a good year, because this is the best they have played in December since Aikman was still their QB, but they are very beat up right now. Dickslapping a soft Colts team with nothing to play for is a far cry from the kind of teams they have ahead of them in the playoffs. Detroit at home is going to be a game against two of the dirtiest linemen in the game. The next stop is likely GB and they have been racking up pressure a lot lately, too. Then they would have to go into Seattle, who are also an extremely physical Defense. Reverse those first two if the Pack shits the bed this week, of course. I think they skate past the Lions, because the Lions offense has been sputtering lately, but anything beyond that is a coin flip or worse. As much as the Cowboys annoy me, I would rather see them win it than anyone other than GB, though.

The Cowboys are contenders, but there's still that little guy in the back of my head going "Romo will fuck it up."
