Jay Gruden appears as the "front runner" for the Washington Redskins

I'm done with his run game abandonment, inability to adjust, and embarrassing attempts to "outsmart" defenses. Bengals are so stacked with talent offensively, we should get some great OC candidates if Gruden leaves. Hue Jackson would indeed be a great in-house candidate, but I really think we could attract some top tier talent if that position opened up. I think a different OC is the most important offseason change we could make.

Jay Gruden would be the perfect hire for Snyder. He'd be a first time head coach, so he'll have no leverage to question the people ahead of him on the org chart: the owner, the GM, the quarterback, and the quarterback's father. The more gullible fans will even believe the "Gruden" name means something.

I'm actually thinking it will be Ken Whisenhunt. There is a history of success there but still not someone with a track record that will allow him to demand the kind of control Shanahan had. Zimmer has probably already laughed in their faces...why go to the Snyder/RG3 BFF freakshow when he's probably on the short list of every team with a vacancy?

You mean you're hoping its Whisenhunt but you really know its going to be Gruden.

I was actually born 30 minutes north of San Diego...jumping ship to my motherland's ball club has never looked better. I really feel like I've been a Charger fan for life because of that. Rivers? Awesome guy...always been a fan of his career and his facial expressions.

Where do I sign up for various baby blue articles of clothing?

As a Redskins fan i have not been able to stomach reading about another coaching search.
I have chosen to ignore the candidates/search and assume we will be terrible no matter who it is. cause we will be.

But maybe, as a consolation, the browns will get Manziel and go on to dominate their division for the next 10 years.

Titans have interviewed Negrobot, Jay Gruden, and Zimmer tomorrow. I would honestly be unhappy with any of those hires. I guess Zimmer would be okay, but if we hire Negrobot I think I am becoming an NFL agnostic.

I've read theDetroit HC gig is Whisenhunt'sto lose.

I honestly don't think Zimmer is going anywhere. He's a DC for life.
Not so fast!

I really doubt it would happen, but I would laugh my balls off if Detroit hired Kubiak. The big thing is they think that the Lions just need discipline and toughness and to rein in Matthew Stafford, and Kubiak is the epitome of "Aw shucks, it's all my fault anyway, these guys try their hardest." As far as the QB coaching goes, an epic meltdown season by Schaub and wild inefficiency by Case Keenum kinda shoots that theory all to hell.

That sounds exactly like Greg Roman. I hope he gets the Penn State gig.

Look, everyone is going to interview Negrobot because they are forced to. I wouldn't worry about him being hired just on that.

Seriously, you'd be crazy not to want Zimmer. Dude just lead the Bengals to the 3rd best defense in league on a defense that for several games featured Pacman Jones as the #1 CB. That's basically HoF worthy.
