God damnit Lauren.

edit: the dipshit who posted the article called it an automatic rifle, it's semi-auto.
If it's not full auto, why is it even registered?

The Vikings Defense is in just as much need as they are at QB. Hopefully Zimmer helps shake up the defense enough to be credible, but that alone won't give me hope. I'll agree that if we got even a mediocre QB who can consistently make passes and not turn the ball over and give just a little bit of threat of being able to put the ball deep, then the Vikings offense would be in great shape.

I'm all for blowing our first pick on a QB and letting him learn through trial by fire; I'm also for putting that draftee under Matt Cassell and letting him teach the kid while we have an 8-8 season. The franchise was an embarrassment this year but if they get it together quick, things could get really interesting up here.
This. All you armchair Vikings GMs didn't actually watch the Vikings this year. QB is a need. A very big need. We had the second worst defense in the whole league. We lose Jared Allen, Kevin Williams, Cook, Sherels and Griffen from that side of the ball alone. Our defense right now is essentially Floyd, B Robison, Greenway, X Rhodes and Harrison Smith. There are huge positions of need across the board.

I don't expect Bridgewater or Manziel to be there at 8. I would take either if they were. I would not reach above BPA otherwise though. Spielman already did that once and it didn't work.

I would guess that Cassell starts next year. That obviously isn't ideal but I'm ok with it.

You don't think we're re-signing Allen? Is that common knowledge up there?
The rest needed to be replaced anyway. The guys you mentioned as our defense right now are the guys I liked on our defense.

I agree...if one of the top QBs are there, take him. Otherwise shore up the secondary/MLB/O-line depending on who is still available. Spielman has done pretty well in the draft outside of the Ponder selection, imo.

Media up here think its pretty unlikely that Jared comes back.

And, agreed. Outside of reaching for Ponder he's drafted very well.

That's all armchair GMs know how to do. Historically bad defense? NEW QB will fix it!!1

I'll happily take Schwartz back as Titans DC if we don't keep Greg Williams. Statistical Jim was extremely competent and always called a smart defensive game.

NFL players are essentially celebrities, they are athletes, and they make millions. It shocks you that their glorified whor...I mean wives, are hot as fuck?
Yeah and along with this when you see a pro athlete with an uggo that he obviously stayed with knowing she isn't a gold digger you end up gaining some respect for the guy. Just like that one Curb episode.

He was married to this chick when he was a WR at Texas AM, can't imagine he was too famous then. Plus he's pretty damn sexy himself.

Watching her and Jake Long's wife sit together was probably the most enjoyable part of the 2012 season.

I couldn't tell you, according to Wikipedia both of those things are felonies in Florida.

God I hope the current mock draft board holds true, let Houston take Johnny Football and my Browns take Bortles. I feel JF is not going to do very well in his nfl career and seems like itll be a waste of a pick taking him so high. Bortles doesnt seem as good as Luck right out the gate, but his ceiling seems just as high. I could be completely wrong and JF could be the 2nd coming of jesus christ for all I know but we shall see.

JFoot is a turd in sheep's clothing. Maybe he'll prove me wrong, but he seems so immature. I think he came out too early.
