There's been a lot of rumors and suggestions lately about changing where they do the draft. 2 common suggestions have been either doing it in the Super Bowl winning city or doing it in the city that has the #1 pick.
Both are pretty bad ideas. Super Bowl winning city cares the least about their 1st pick and a lot of teams with the first pick announce who they're picking well beforehand

They should have it in Omaha, NE. That way people actually have a reason to ever visit Omaha, NE. It would be the event of the year there.

They had the ribbon cutting ceremony for Levi's stadium yesterday. Everyone is dressed up nice, and then there's Harbaugh...in his fucking black sweatshirt and khakis haha.

I love this idea. Omaha does play host to the College Baseball World Series, which is a pretty big event, but this would be a cool addition.

I'm guessing Warren Buffet isn't a football fan, or it would already be there in Omaha.

I fucking LOVE the draft. I watch it, and I also watch hours of the NFL Combine. That being said, I'm probably a bigger college football fan than I am NFL fan(but I do follow the NFL closely), so I know most of the players in the combine and draft before the announcers even start telling you about them.

For some reason, I enjoy following a kid from highschool recruiting, through college, and into the NFL, it's an interesting journey to me. I still remember shaking Aldon Smiths hand at a Mizzou recruiting banquet here in Kansas City when he was still a senior in High School. Was a fairly quiet kid, was skinny(looked like a basketball small forward coming out of HS) but had hands as big as bear paws.

Yes there is. Kenny Britt was arrested 8 times and 1 was a felony. He was only suspended for a total of 1 game. Aldon already missed 5 games last season in rehab, which may count as a pseudo suspension towards whatever Goodell rules. I wouldn't be surprised if he is suspended, but there's definitely a chance he won't be.
