Don't even care anymore. This will be my last year subscribing to Sunday Ticket. So I won't even have to worry about watching the Redskins be fucking terrible.

Edit: And it sounds like Haslett is still on as DC, with Raheem as DB coach. What a joke.

I'm very happy to be rid of him. I'm really looking forward to Hue Jackson. He's a very run-oriented play caller. Gio was the RB he wanted too. Darren McFadden looked best when Jackson the play caller.

Not as awesome as Hue Jorgan.

Seriously, though... 'Hue'? Not 'Hugh'? Fucking hippies.

Hail to the King baby!

Gruden will be expected to "re-energize" quarterback Robert Griffin III's young career. A former QB coach in addition to his offensive coordinator duties, he was key in the development of Bengals QB Andy Dalton, who helped to lead Cincinnati to the playoffs in each of his first three seasons in the league.
Yes, Dalton has gotten better by 10 points in the quarterback rating in each of the past three playoff games. Of course he started at a ~40. I suppose in Snyder's world that's improvement.

Why keep Haslett around? Unless they're going to go back to the 4-3 after 1 year? The defense was total shit this year...surpassed by the historically awful special teams. Pick up the phone and hire Wade Phillips, wtf.

I guess it could be worse. I was half convinced that Snyder would bend right over for the Griffin family and hire Art Briles. Maybe he even tried and Briles had enough sense to run for the door.

Not sold on Jay Gruden, obviously. Keeping any of the defensive staff around just seems ridiculously silly at this point.

I'm going to pay attention more to the Redskins next year than I should. I'm curious to see how Gruden handles the HC position and how that will affect offensive playcalling. I'm ready to watch bad football.

I don't agree Cutler was worth as much as the Bears are paying him but in theory it shouldn't affect greatly who they sign this summer as long as they cut Peppers, which they should. With no signing bonus its really a 3 year deal, only other option was to tank and even with the worst Bears D in franchise history they still almost made the playoffs.

I guess if by "almost" you mean getting swept by the Lions and missing the mark with all of two playoff teams on the schedule, sure. If the Bears had played McCown for the rest of the season and waited a year or two to draft a new QB while kicking Cutler to the curb, I am willing to bet that they win at least one of those two last games. Plus they could have saved tons of cap space while they rebuild. Cutler plays just good enough to get coaches fired. As it is, he is Flacco part two without the ring or defense. I don't care how they structured that deal, paying him elite money was a huge mistake. You can get elite Free Agents to play below their market value with a true marquee QB giving them a shot at a ring, like Manning, Brady, Brees, or Rodgers. No one is taking a pay cut to play with Jay.

The Peppers situation definitely sucks for you guys, though. No argument there. At least as a Packers fan, the worst disappointment we have to face is watching refuse Teddy trades down to grab shit the bed in the defensive backfield. Like fucking Bush, who managed to blow another easy play that could have iced a playoff game. I would have to guess that watching rookies not pan out is probably less aggravating than seeing a pro get his contract and then lie down.

The Bears beat the Bengals in Week 1. But with how they played in the playoffs, I guess you can say they weren't a playoff team.
