Shit man, that's harsh.
Yeah but from an organizational standpoint things have been better since Wade Phillips was canned. "Better" in this case doesn't necessarily equate to successful, even I'm leery of the way things are given the history of the team since Jerry bought them, but five years ago versus today and the team is like night and day. I mean, they could have remained in perpetual "one more piece" mode but they didn't.

The same rule where it still wouldn't have been a catch, so at no point, regardless of the old or new wording of the rule, were the Cowboys one 'bullshit rule' away from going to the NFL championship in 2014? Your 'star' receiver didn't make the catch. End of story.
