You mean the guy who asked the QB for money and then the QB got in his face, put his hands on the guys chest and told him "You won't do anything about it"? Yeah, fuck that guy for sticking up for himself against a pussy ass shit Quarterback. Ask Geno Smith who got the short end of the stick on that deal. Pretty sure it wasn't the guy who signed a contract a day later and played all games so far and had no play incentives in his contract....

That would involve us losing to the Browns and/or Rams at home. The Rams game is no gimme, but we aren't losing to Manziel in Seattle. As long as we beat the Browns/Rams the next 2 weeks we almost definitely lock up the #5 seed.

I expect the Vikings to beat the Bears and the Giants at home too though, so you'll both be 10-5 going into the final week. I still expect Seattle to get the #5 seed because of tiebreaker and/or Cardinals resting guys in Week 17, but if Vikings and Seahawks are both 10-5 going into Week 17 with games against division rivals Green Bay and Arizona, respectively, tough to say it's locked up.

You know, when Linehan came in to call plays, the knock on him was that he was going to be too pass heavy. You know, based upon his time in Detroit.
Now I'm just convinced he's a shitty playcaller. Dude can't adjust for shit and telegraphs everything. Need a yard? JUMBO SET RUN UP THE GUT! First down run? It's more likely than you think. Blowing guys off the line and getting 10 yard runs in a single back set? Hur dur let's change it up and telegraph a screen. I understand Cassell isn't exactly going to light things up, but at least try to not be so damned predictable.
But you watch. They'll win the next three games, finish at 7-9 and they'll go into the offseason feeling good about how things ended, despite everything that happened. And the wheel will turn for another lost year.
