49ers came back to reality.

Holy shit is that secondary way worse than I thought.
Yup, was a nice cold splash of water. I actually expected them to get burned a few times, and then learn their lesson. The lesson never happened and they just kept letting Brown run right by them.

Last week Pacman did the same thing then smashed Coopers head into his helmet a couple times. He didn't get ejected. Complete inconsistency but that's typical of the NFL.

Yup, Pacman Jones did that. I still don't understand how he only got away with a 35k fine for that.

Hopefully they start enforcing it more consistently and often. Act like a piece of shit, go cool off in the locker room for the rest of the game.

Also, begging for a penalty flag should be a penalty. Feels like every long pass attempt this week had one of the players pointing at each other after the play. Same with false starts and offsides.

Outside of Romo did any of the QB's that got paid since last season even have a winning season...Eli 0/2, Wilson 0/2, who else got paid?

If the Eagles manage to beat the Cowboys with Bradford and Romo getting hurt while the Raiders miracle the Ravens it'll be a great day of football.
Fuck you. Way too many of these things came true. OK, actually only one too many.

Cowboys, worst 2-0 team of all time? Each week a star player goes down! I'd ask who is next but I don't know anyone else's name that isn't old man Witten.
That won't happen. Witten lacerated his spleen and still didn't miss a game.

Did Lee go out today? If not he seems like the obvious choice.

Jason Witten will be out on the field long after the rest of us are dead. Super reliably catching 7 yard routes and gaining 1 YAC from some steampunk powered quarterbacking automoton.

Witten is one of those ultra tough players. I wouldn't want to be the soon to be deceased person to tell him he has to sit a game out.

I'm in a grumpy mood, let's see if we can end anyone else's season after 2 weeks.

Since the NFL expanded to a 12 team playoff format in 1990, only 23 teams of 204 to start 0-2 (11.2 percent) have overcome the winless start to make the postseason.

The recent numbers are even worse, as mentioned above: Since 2009, the only two teams to start 0-2 and make the playoffs were Carolina in 2013 and Indianapolis in 2014 have made the playoffs. To put it into third-grade mathematical terms, over the past six seasons you have a 4% chance of making the playoffs if you're winless headed into Week 3.
The Seattle Seahawks are in deep playoff trouble with 0-2 start | For The Win

List of 0-2 teams:

Ravens, Texans, Giants, Eagles, Lions, Bears, Seahawks (and Indy if they lose tomorrow). Anyone wanna take bets on who beats the odds?
