I obviously don't know how to read twitter. All i saw romo say was an emoticon. What was idiotic about that?
Guess you missed the video from Major League. The scene where it's revealed to the team they were put together to be bad enough in order for the team to lose enough games that the bitch owner can relocate the franchise. The god of all surprise bunts Jake Taylor gets up and says the only thing left to do is to win the whole fucking thing.

TLDR, Romo essentially predicting them winning out.

When the Packers were 6-0, you were saying they were going to finish 15-1. Now that they've lost 3 in a row (2 of which were to undefeated teams), suddenly, Rodgers career is ruined? ROFL. Never change, Phaz.

That Detroit loss was rough but I too think Packer nation is overreacting. This weekend against us is a great bounce back game for you guys because he truth is we aren't as good as our record makes us look. Don't get me wrong, Vikings are on the right path and I really think in two years we're looking at MN contending for the North year in and year out, with that hopefully leading to real contention.

But we're 7-2 with only one of those 9 games against a team with a winning record (loss to the Broncos). Vikings look to have a decent defense this year, but again, it's shown up against awful teams. What does that really mean? Packers still have a ton more offensive talent than we do and it'll be the first real test our defense has seen in two months.

Lots of wondering about what went wrong this year.

It pretty much comes down to the fact that Romo elevates that team and for all the shit he takes he's really the only reason they haven't consistently had a top 10 draft pick for the last eight years. The only two times they did were the year Romo missed over half the season with his previous collarbone injury and the year they traded up to get Claiborne.

I am not looking forward to the years after his retirement.

At least you guys know where you stand. I think my team is fucked for the foreseeable future, but I won't know for certain until they shit the bed against the Vikes this week. I think McFatty might have finally managed to break Rodgers with his terrible game planning and lack of adjustments. Rodgers looks like he did the first season, with the happy feet, holding the ball to long, and off target touch passes. It is fun to listen to all the retarded GB homers who wanted to string up Capers shut the fuck up after the third straight week of the offense looking like run-run-pass-punt Forest Greg years all over again. I seriously think that the NFC Championship game loss, entirely due to coaching error, has made the entire team check out on McCarthy, including Rodgers. Losing play calling privileges as head coach is usually not a good sign. I mean, what is he going to focus on exactly, his Andy Reed level clock management skills? Second HOF caliber QB that McFatty has ended, if this is the case. But as bad as that loss was, I think losing to the Lions at home, the way they did, might be the low point for this team for over two decades. McCarthy has no competitive edge. This team should have rolled all over the hapless Lions at home to bounce back from the two embarrassing efforts that preceeded this game, but instead only the D actually showed up to play.

I will of course continue to support my beloved Packers, but I am not getting emotionally invested with them until they can McFatty and preferably Teddy the Ghost along with him. Ten years of having the youngest team and highest cap space does not make you a genius and there are not any trophies for that shit. It really is just throwing away potential to not try and plug some holes when you have had over two decades of HOF level QBs and only two SB wins (one being a fluke) to show for it.

Not to belittle how much it sucks to be a Cowboy fan this season, but at least you guys know you are fucked. Most Packer fans live in this delusion sustained by a good QB and a weak division, including me until the moment they shit the bed against Detroit at home. But the reality is that McFatty has finally wrecked this team and won't be canned until far too late because when you win a SB (even one under ridiculously lucky circumstances), you are Jesus in title town. So we are stuck with the Eli Manning of head coaches and a never ending string of 11ish win seasons and division titles that never quite makes it to the next level, except of course Eli actually managed to win two rings....
This fucking guy lol. Don't go undefeated and the end is nigh! Yeah it must suck to have a free pass to the playoffs every year and double digit wins. Oh noes we don't win the Superbowl every year! Give me a fucking break.

Well, two years ago we still started Christian Ponder so I don't think you would have heard that from me. The real start to our rebuild was hiring Zimmer and Teddy coinciding with that is just a nice bonus.

I felt good about things until the Detroit game. It forced me to really look at things more closely. Also, there has been infighting and despondent looks on the sidelines, which is something that has NEVER happened on this team prior to this year going all the way back to the Lombardi years. Dropping a game against someone you overlooked is going to happen, hell McFatty does it all the time. Losing to strong teams? Same deal. Three weeks (really four if you consider the Chargers game) of listless effort and obvious dissention in the ranks on the sidelines? That's a patter of a team headed on the way down. I knew McCarthy was a shitty coach, but Rodgers could be counted on to rack up lots of fantasy stats against sub par teams, so 14-2 did not seem that ridiculous. Then the Lions game happened (fuck, most of you guys were not even ALIVE the last time the Lions won in Lambeau) and it made me realize that McCarthy probably lost Rodgers trust (and respect). Hell he openly admitted as much in his last presser (what a moron).

And don't get me wrong, its not the losing that bothers me. Its the wasted potential. I go back to the fucking Lynn Dickey years and we have been absolutely blessed with top quality QBs for over two decades and have next to nothing to show for that time. McFatty has literally had over a decade with two HOF/top 5 in the league QBs on his roster and has managed one extremely fortunate SB win against an aging Steelers roster. Meanwhile, teams with less talent like the Giants have been able to nab two rings with Bad Comedian Eli Manning under center. The realization here is that when Rodgers is done, we are basically going to be in a never ending pattern of burning 1st round draft picks on QB busts and being pleasantly surprised when we pull an 8-8 wild card year out of our ass. The Randy Wright years are coming again and watching that incompetent fat ass squander all the talent he has in the interim is extremely frustrating, but we are stuck with McFatass because he has relatives on the Packer Board of Directors. Fucking asshole is never getting fired. I think of what even a remotely good coach would have done with the talent on this roster and its even more rage inducing. Having a QB on that level is a rare thing in the modern NFL era and we have essentially pissed away two of them. If I am a Texans or Jags fan, I am fucking stoked any time my team sneaks a win out because the team is exceeding its means with a sub par QB. But when your coach has five years of MVP QB play and only one SB appearance to show for it, its really hard not to get critical and disgusted. No one should be satisfied with Martyball.

Having a great QB is no guarantee of a Superbowl. Just ask The Chargers and Dolphins.

Fuck, even look at the 90s 49ers. Those teams had Young, Jerry Rice (arguably the greatestfootballplayer ever, let alone WR), Watters in his prime, Hearst, etc. Look at their offensive and defensive ranks during those years. They were fuckingstackedon both sides of the ball. What did we have to show for it? 1 Super Bowl. Sometimes shit just doesn't go your way. Poor coaching at a bad time, poor execution in a big moment, an unlucky break, bad call, etc.

Now, would you rather have a team where the only question isn't whether or not you're going to the playoffs, but whether or not you're going to the Super Bowl? Or would you rather have Jed "We don't hang NFC Championship banners" York in an ownership role, who outside of a 3 year anomaly, has overseen a team that is nothing other than a basement dweller? I'll take the 90s back in a fucking heartbeat.

You of all people have to understand my disgust. Your owner threw away a guy who knocked on the door or went to the SB in all but one of his seasons there.

I wouldn't call Bortles sub par. It's only his second year and he looks vastly better than last year. The Jags offense is actually pretty fun to watch. Those WRs are legit.

I think Bortles is their guy. I think he is about the best you could hope for unless you hit the NFL jackpot on a potential hall of famer.

Yeah, I feel ya man. We are wasting Flacco's best years here with these whiffed draft picks and shit ass defensive coaching. Damn shame to see an elite playcaller's talent get squandered like this!

As I said already, no this is the wort part of being a Cowboy fan right now. Cuz no romo and cuz division sucks, we can't go into the 'rebuilding mode' excuse. We still have fucking hope!

Well, you got fucked by the Murray situation (dude wanted money more than rings) and the Romo injury. Both things are out of your control. A lot of the Packers problems are fundamental coaching fuckups, which are all preventable.

It's still kind of up in the air if this is a coaching problem as well. It's absolutely a fail by the front office on a couple of fronts (backup QB, the RB carousel) but this is still a team that's fighting unlike 2010 when it was clear they had given up. Coaches can only do so much though, at some point the players have to make plays.
