Well hey, the silver lining is that the 49ers draft bpa will meet need in every pick the team is so barren? That said, I personally feel wr is a bad position to draft early

Texans need a QB for the love of god, but not sure who will be there at 22. Maybe that guy from ND State? Otherwise, RB, DT, O-line.

I could see the Texans taking Ezekiel Elliot or Derrick Henry in round 1 and Hackenberg round 2 as its a pretty obvious fit there. Would be a nice start to rebuilding that offense

Do you really think Henry is going to be a good NFL RB? It seems like he greatly benefited from that Alabama O-Line, rather than being a truly great back. And as stupid as it sounds, he is so damn tall for a RB!

Brandon Jacobs had a pretty good career for be a taller bruising RB, iirc.

I think drafting RBs in the first round is stupid. Trading up to do so is colossally stupid. Chargers have done both. The good news is our team is missing talent all over the roster so just about anything will help. I hope we are able to trade down for more pics and fill tons of holes and depth.

Depends on the back. Elliot or Henry both look to be better NFL prospects over say, guys like Montee Ball or Ryan Matthews. Gurley proved to be a game changer for St Louis this year, but I think you definitely need to be a 3 down rb to cement 1st round status nowadays.

For that reason Im not really sold on Henry on 1st round, too many holes in his game, but Elliot looks to be a superstar who can do it all. He had 200+ rushing yards last year vs Wisconsin, Oregon, and Alabama in their title run.....and he has hands out of the backfield too. Henry has to work on that a lot, he is in more of the mold of AP. I still think you can wait till a later round and get a great rb, so it will be interesting to see if this trend continues of a return to drafting rbs in round 1.

For some reason people have fell in love with Wentz (it's a thing over at the Cowboy's SB Nation blog too) but from what I've read he isn't anywhere near Lynch or Goff in terms of being a top of Rd 1 pick. Right now if Goff is off the board I would take Ramsey, Jack, or Smith and hope for a good QB prospect in the 2nd.

Jerome Bettis was fat the entire time he was in the NFL, didn't stop him from making the Hall of Fame.

I really don't see Dallas taking a QB in the first round. Bosa, Ramsey, or Treadwell would be a much better pick.

I don't know anything about Tunsil but Oline upgrades are desperately needed so I would love that pick. Hopefully he would turn out to be a super star if they drafted him.
Well Chargers are in a great spot since most everyone has Bosa or Tunsil as the best players in this draft, and Browns at 2 are taking a QB most likely meaning you will get one, and either are desperately needed in SD.

Feel like the Chargers tanked last season on purpose. Can't be in the playoffs and try to move to LA.

Watched that team several times last year and felt like they really weren't anywhere as close to bad as their record indicated. Injuries to key guys didn't help much either.

Actually think they're almost in a better position than the Rams because at least they have Rivers.

Yea, if you're not going to win the SB the best you can do is be competitive and end up drafting in the top 5. Rams should package something to move way up and take Goff, but I dont think the Snisher duo has those kind of balls to go to 1st overall. Then again, Im not as sold on Lynch/Wentz as everyone else either and thought Lynch looked like shit when I saw him play in the bowl game.
