Like we have our 1st round pick next year. I've been saying start Mannion, not Goff you mouth breather.

Mannion is going to be the starter. They aren't going to let him get destroyed by Seattle. Have patience, for fucks sake, why does it take Patriots fans to explain to losers how the NFL works.

Riiight, because being a Patriots fan somehow makes you a football savant.

Have patience with what fuck stick? Jeff Fisher? Getting blown out 28-0 by last years 29th ranked defense after having 7 months to prepare for it?

Sorry man, my patience is fucking out.

"In the least surprising news of the day, you can still purchase the Redskins 2016 Color Rush jersey that the Redskins won’t actually wear in 2016 for $150 at the Nike store. It’s the perfect gift for the messy hot dog eater in your life." -wapo

Wtf did you expect? Feed the rookie to the wolves? Didn't he leave McNair on the bench for two years?
You mean like Cam Newton? And Winston? And Manning (who still holds the rookie interception record at 28)? And Luck? And Mariota? The list could go on and on of guys who started their rookie years......you start them and let them absorb the speed of the game with live bullets, it will slow down for them eventually.

Yeah, it's not the 80's and 90's anymore. Rodgers is about the only exception of recent QB's that have sat their rookie years, and that's mostly because they had a franchise QB already and it just so happened the follow up guy was good.

Is it true rams had 133 yards total vs 102 penalties? Saw a photo earlier and didn't want to believe it.

Good point...but I think the list is longer of failed QB's who started as rookies vs those who turned out to be superstars. Yes you can start them but I think it has more to do with weapons around them and a solid coaching staff.

You start them with a shitty line, no big wide receiver, no tight end and a above average running back? He gets hit so much he will be getting broken in half.

If you're going to be waiting for a good OL and #1 WR you're going to be sitting Goff on the bench for about 3 more years.....when the Rams have draft picks again. I wouldn't call Gurley an above average back either, he put up a great season with the dead last ranked passing offense in the league. And who knows how long Fisher lasts in LA.......Kroenke seems to love being mediocre and running his sports teams into the fucking dirt, so, good luck on that front too.

At some point, the kid has to play. Case Keenum is not the answer nor is Mannion, which is why they drafted him. You can't coddle him, and fuck all the "well he sucked in preseason" shit people keep clamoring about. Cam Newton blew up as a rookie. Know what his preseason completion % was? 42%. He just needed time to get acclimated to the speed of the game, Goff needs it too.

Yeah, I firmly believe Kroenke doesn't give a shit about winning. The Nuggets, Avalanche, and Rams are revenue streams and that's about it. Winning would just be extra gravy.

I bet the list of QBs that sat for awhile that failed is huge too. QBs mostly suck it turns out.

Romo sat his rookie year. I think he finally played in year 3.
