For HC or OC? I can see maybe bringing him in as an OC somewhere but not sure why anyone would want to give him a shot at HC again.

Norv Turner out in Minn. Apparently a resignation not technically a firing.

What the fiddily fuck? Yeah, they were downright bad on Monday, but they're still the #2 seed in the NFC, without their #1 QB, #1 RB, and half their O-Line.

Like unless Turner came to blows with Zimmer/Ownership over how bad their situation is, I don't get this.

Its very strange yes. Their line is bad and its *only* a two game skid, although it does feel more dire being that they simply don't seem capable of hanging with the other contenders in the conference. But firing the OC isn't going to make the line better, I can tell you that from recent experience!

Goodbye Norv Turner. This is political. He pissed off Spielman by telling him what was what. Jake Long was a retarded pick up. He should have been called for holding about 34 times against the bears - he just couldn't keep up. And Turner's offensive scheme is hard to learn and Long should have never been in there anyway. Boneheaded decision.

And Sendejo is a HUGE part of the Vikings Defense. Losing him is worse than losing Harrison Smith. I hope he is back against the Lions.

Nobody is going to make their OL not be dogshit or pull a decent running game out of their ass either.

Well, the O-Line is also Dogshit because they can't learn the blocking schemes. But our defense cannot be fooled on a tackle cross over play action fake either. And that happened twice and one resulted in a touchdown.

Wow, Pat Shurmur is the person who got the OC promotion in Minnesota? Hope he has more of that Philly juice in him and not so much the shit he did in CLE.

The guy is a fantastic coordinator. Cleveland shouldn't even count on his record given what he had to deal with over there. The owner of the browns is a convicted criminal who defrauded the government for fucks sake.

Learning the routes. He is having a hard time picking up on them.

And he is not showing effort in learning either.

Article on nfl.com says "various reports suggest Collins wanted Von Miller type money while Pats offered $11m". Of course Collins says he didn't get that offer but something along those lines would make the trade seem less crazy.

Still strange if he wanted that much money (and you know someone would have paid it in the offseason) why they didn't just let him walk after the season and pick up likely the same compensatory pick for him...but still get the 2nd half of the season with him on the team.

Local radio is quoting sources that are saying that Pat Shurmur was controlling the offense the first four games to acclimate Bradford. After the bye Norv took over, and the results speak for themselves. Would explain the huge differences in scheme between the first 4 games and the last 2 if true.

You play Bill's defense, not your own. You do your job.

Our great hero Alex Smith cannot play this week. Nick Foles with a chance at redemption.

As a Chargers fan I don't care for Norv much but this seems weird its not like they are a dumpster fire. They have had some serious injury issues.

If Norv was only play calling the last couple weeks then I could definitely understand showing him the doorm

Forgot to quote you Famm but, Norv is a good OC not HC, there are plenty of teams that could use help at coordinator even as a consultant.
