Whats crazy is I was just looking up some stats on Garopollo and how he has won his first 7 starts in his career and was wondering where that stood record wise, he is now second behind Big Ben who had 15! straight as a rookie and in his second year (regular season). I doubt he goes 9-0 to start next year so that record will probably never be broken. Its still impressive though, as his YPA is near the top of the league. I think he would of finished 1st in yards per attempt if he had enough passes to qualify.

He has thrown for 300 yards and then 2 games with almost 300 and one with 240, he ended up with 1,500+ yards on the year in 6 appearances and 5 starts. During Big Bens streak he was throwing for 178 yards and was depending on the defense most of the time. Whats crazy is Ben used to be criticized for not doing much during the first Super Bowl win etc, but over the course of his career he has turned into the epitome of a volume passer, having reached 500+ yards 3! times and has went for 300+ 42 times in his career.

So maybe Jimmy G is just a flash in the pan and the league will figure him out and he will end up just being average. But he does a HELL of an impression of being a great quarterback.

I think he will go 50-0

Not sure who will want the Bears job but whoever it is will likely be tanking all their future head coaching opportunities. That job is fucked.

Del Rio keeps a horrible DC in Norton and fires our OC Musgrave who had the top 6th ranked offense last year. Musgrave isn't the greatest but to then replace him with a brand new OC in Downing who has never done the job before was crazy talk. If anything the Raiders should have fired Norton after last season and kept Musgrave.

Just look what Pagano did with the defense as soon as Norton was fired. In half the games we had more sacks, more interceptions, the list goes on and on. I'm sure Del Rio was probably calling the majority of the defense when Norton was around anyhow and had no problem making him the scapegoat. Which also says a lot considering hes billed as a defensive minded coach with a shit defense for 3 years straight. Look how Downing in one season helped to dismantle an offense that acquired new weapons to help out this year. Yeah it wasn't all Downing but he sure did help a bunch.

Del Rio has made plenty of dumb decisions and that window to win wont be there forever. I could go on but I aint crying none for Del Rio. Hes going to be paid plenty to relax at home. He did what we needed him to do. Hopefully Gruden can come in and take us all the way going forward.

Had MVP candidate Carr? They were good. Lose MVP candidate Carr? Your team is gonna suck. I'm clearly not versed in everything Raid Nation, so all you said is probably true. Just seems that you give that another year then decide if Del Rio has what it takes. (I'm sure like you, no Raider fan is crying tears over him).

In 24hours Bills fans have donated over 22 grand to Andy Dalton’s charity.

The teams flight got back at 1 am when it was zero degrees and this is what was waiting for them

He still threw like 12 Tds with zero picks and was totally the main factor in the Ravens winning games Yeah the defense was very good but the guy was...just making plays I mean perhaps he got lucky here and there but you need luck to go on a run like that.

If Keapernick gets to run a couple bootlegs in the final minute the whole Flacco and Ravens thing never happens and he probably doesnt get the huge contract and the entire league would be different.

If they just called the hold in the end zone on 4th and goal same thing would be true. Or just Rahim Moore not letting Jones get behind him for a 65 yard TD with under a minute to go in the divisional round against Denver. But that all happened, he got that contract, and the rest is history.

McDaniels or Shurmur most likely. No real hope here, is this what it is like to be a Brown's fan when you literally can't see how your team can succeed for the foreseeable future?

Carr severely regressed this year, was bad even before the back injury

It's weird to say...b/c his first bad game was against the Skins when our D looked like world beaters for all of one week. Had 5 TD's and 0 picks the first 2 weeks, Another TD and over 100 passer rating in the Denver game before he got hurt. So really 1 bad game before the injury, and 2.5 pretty damn good ones.

This is the annoying thing - the Bears are going for retreaded head coaches again. At this point, I rather see a brand new face, an unknown, instead of some other team's rejected previous head coach. This team is still rebuilding (as always), so there is no pressing need to "win now". Yet their mentality is plucking some offensive minded coordinator from a winning team will translate into wins here. Worked with Trestman, right?

Heard on the news that Pace was given a two year extension to his contract. Trubisky probably saved his ass this year but unless he can produce over the next two, he'll be out (I think).

I think the Bears fucked themselves by getting fleeced by John Lynch. They gave up a 3rd? To move up a spot to take Trubisky.....lol.

If Trubisky turns out to be a bust that franchise is fucked for at least 5 years.

The Patriots took a gamble trading Jimmy as well. If Brady plays well for 3 more seasons then it was worth it. But if he falls off a cliff next year the Patriots are in trouble.

Edit: I think Shanahan deserves a lot of credit too. His play calling is elevating Jimmy and that offense, if Jim Tomsula had Garoppogoat they would still be a garbage team.

Been wondering why Marvin Lewis hadn't been fired yet but I just heard his contract is up, so I'm thinking he is done in Cincinnati.

They gave Pace a 2 year extension so the new 4 year contract matches up with whoever is hired as the HC. What they should have done is fire his ass. The Trubisky trade will go down in history as one of the all time worst draft day trades. Though nothing will ever change untiil the old bag finally keels over and the McCaskey family finally sells.

I could see him going to the Bears. I think the Bears is an attractive job. Trubisky is a legitimate QB. A good coach and coordinator and they will be much better. Fee more pieces and they can be competitive.

He already announced he wont be back a week or two ago.

Bills fans donations to Andy Daltons charity is over 100K as of this morning.

I get that its a flawed 9-7 team that lucked into the playoffs and will sputter out of Jacksonville, but damn its a good time for us and Im glad the fans are embracing it and sharing the joy.
