I don't understand why anyone cares if he does color commentary on a couple playoff games before he takes a new job.

Because he’s fucking terrible at it, and we want to be rid of him in the booth as soon as possible.

He gets to watch them practice and their routines.

So why is Rudolph suddenly on a lot of fan's radar? He has one of the best WR groups in the nation(kept them his whole career basically) and looked terrible against TCU when he couldn't just heave the ball deep. Even against VT, he looked bad until his WRs were able to just run past less talented DBs.

Because Darnold and Rosen underwhelmed, Allen had a shit year but zipped back up in the bowl game, and Mayfield is 5'9 at best. 4-5 Qbs are going in round 1. So it makes sense hes climbing the boards.

He has the size you want, progresses through 2-3 reads on plays more than most college QBs, while is in a spread system throws deep more than most, and isnt just limited to a one side of the field route progression/read. Has a Strong arm.

He may slide back down during the combine/Pro days and as more film gets broken down, but at thsi time of the year it makes sense he is rising when someone has to be the 3rd, 4th, 5th QB off the board.

He's been doing that with all teams for the last few years. I don't think one more day of it is going to make any difference.

Awesome for the Cleveland Browns. In another year of drafting at the top and with the 1st and 4th this year it's once again with a shit year for good bet QBs. Though when there ARE good QBs they pass on them anyways. Can someone buy this crap franchise and move them to Northern Virginia and rename them the NVA Red Ravens and call it a day?

Browns need to tell Hue Jackson to go fuck his strategy and pay for a veteran, and continue to build out. Hue has destroyed Kizer's soul by throwing him into this clusterfuck. Recruit a vet, and continue building.

You have to admit, the Browns were not bad on that defensive line. They are certainly not the weak link on this team. Build a receiving corps, get something that looks like a secondary instead of an outfield, and get a real pro's pro vet qb -- like Jake Cutler level -- and ride out 2018 with at least some wins. No qb this draft imo.

I don't think a lot of good free agents want to go to Cleveland.

You'd figure teams without a state income tax would abuse it since players can make the same amount of money while being paid 'less'. Works great in hockey, the Lightning were able to lock up players like Stamkos who likely would have gone to Toronto if not for the fact that he can make the same amount of money in Tampa and leave the team with more cash to spend on talent. Which, unlike some of the shitbag NFL owners, the Lightning owners actually did it.

Darth Bill has fully transformed into his final form. After capturing a 5th super bowl, the evil flows through him with such vigor you can barely understand what he is saying at the podium now, as his utterances become more guttural.

He seems to not hold any semblance of care either, having been freed from his Earthly bond a while ago when he sold his soul to Satan.

I feel bad for whoever has to play the Pats in Foxboro in divisional round.

I'll laugh if the Chiefs go into Foxborough and win.

Peak wackiness would be if Smith came out and threw 3 picks and Andy Reid decided to play Patrick Mahomes and then he saved the game and Alex Smith spent his second super bowl on the bench.

Who do you guys think deserves MVP? I'm kinda leaning towards Russell Wilson.

Gurley makes sense, especially in the second half of the season. Pretty easy to make a case for Tom Brady as well. As much as I hate for things to go well for the pats, it doesn't seem right that he only has 2 mvp awards when Peyton had 5.
