For what its worth, I broke a finger when i was a kid and it took 2 weeks to heal. Wouldn't surpise me if Goff was ready in two weeks.

lol Bills pouring out on

After all those years of getting crushed by the Pats this has to be so cathartic.
You know the Bills are taking extra joy in knowing they are going to be responsible for guaranteeing the Pats first losing season in over 2 decades

They had the option and still chose Tua. He fits what they want to do. Tua will do well with more tools and an offseason to improve.

Herbert on the other hand, I'm worried for. Herbert was destroyed by Belichick. What do you think other teams will do next year with a full year of his work to dissect? With Lynn as his coach? I feel for Chargers fans and Herbert. They might ruin that kid like they did Felipe. He had to fuck all the time just to stop the PTSD.
Lynn is getting fired as is the GM I am pretty sure. Tua is doing pretty well considering he is a rookie I think. Herbert is having an all time rookie year though. Both look like they will be franchise guys if they continue to improve.

Herbert could have just had an off game too, in addition to Belichick holding him down. The kid has shown too much for me to think he's just going to disappear. Tua already has tools, they instantly look better every time Fitz is on the field. Unless Tua himself takes steps forward...Herbert is ahead of him right now by a good bit.

Frankly if they start Tua over Fitz next week I feel they are actively trying to not make the playoffs this year.

To be fair Belichick always has the Chargers number. Lynn just isn't a very good coach and Belichick exploits our weaknesses every time.

I hope so. Lynn is a terrible coach and Herbert has been exceptional.

Edit- Merrith Merrith , I agree with all that. Tua is a project and Fitz is our better option in a shootout. I like the way we've used Tua and he will get better tools with our fantastic draft positions.

Tua is likely going to be just fine. He's got some issues, but I feel like they're all very correctable. It's not a he needs to learn how to throw a football kind of issue. He's very accurate and he doesn't generally make bad throws. He's quick to throw the ball away under pressure, which is probably an overcorrection from eating some bad sacks early on but this should improve over time. Doesn't help that the line is still mostly pretty shitty, which is obviously something he's not used to relatively speaking coming from Alabama, while Fitzpatrick is very used to having played most of his career for shitty teams.

I just think Gaskins, Parker, and Gesicki are all good tools already, and with Fitz they look capable of being great.

If he could actually sustain the magic it would be great but he's only good for so much. He doesn't keep his gunslinger approach in check and costs games as much as he wins them.

Cooper Kupp got the vid. Rams without their top WR, top 2 RB'S, and Jared Goof. What could go wrong? (and their starting LT)

Gaskins is a great 3rd down option. Parker is injury prone. Gesicki is really awesome. He has good tools and needs to learn how to use them better but, with our plethora of picks, why not make his learning process easier? We should be getting one of the top 4 WRs in this draft and a guy like Harris or even Etienne. I'd really like Kadarius Toney if he goes late enough.

I look at Josh Allen as the example teams should use. Guy was a terrible QB his first year and improved his second year but his third...WOW!!!! What did he get for his 3rd year QB birthday? STEPHON DIGGS. That's a primary reason he's elevated to the stratosphere this year. Look at what helped Dalton, Ryan, Watson, Brady, Rapist, Murray, etc. A top flight WR and another really, really good one. I want those kinds of tools for Tua if possible.

So do the Dolphins back the truck up to Kenny Golladay or Allen Robinson this offseason? They need a dominate #1.

Josh fucking Allen won me the fantasy championship by 1.4 points!

The guy who just squeezd into our playoffs won the championship by 2.4 points.

Diggs won it for him with a monster night.

I was trying to trade him for diggs all year lol.

A-Rob would be Tua’s BFF forever. But they gotta draft some o-line help. Tua isn’t used to these mediocre guys.
