good luck buddy, what a situation to put yourself into. Wonder if this will change the Watson situation at all.(doesn't seem likely to me)

Houston is a shitshow, but it's a HC job, pretty hard to turn something like that down I'd imagine.

Ya, I think you have to take it in his position but it's gonna be a hair puller for sure

it's a win-win situation for a guy like him. Let's face it, first question when you heard about his hire was who? Normally he wouldn't be in any conversation from any HC job and people, and he himself, know that. So he can only win from this situation. If he does great, very unlikely, he'll be lauded as the next McVay or something. If he does ok, also unlikely, he'll probably earn himself an extension because Texans job is gonna be toxic for some years to come, given their personnel and cap situation. If he does bare minimum and only somewhat improves the situation, he's shown to the other teams that he has potential for to be a HC. If he utterly fails, well, he really didn't get a fair shake and was thrown into a shitty situation but at the end of the day he has a HC job on his resume. His main objective is probably is to get the locker room on his side. Not give them any bullshit about building a culture or any of that crap. Also Watson needs to be gone. There's too much primadonna in him. JJ is probably gone. He doesn't want to spend the last good years in a shit team when he would be winning games somewhere else. And who can blame him.

49ers could end up with Watson or Rodgers. Probably wont happen but it could happen.

Whats Crazy is Watson's cap hit is only 10.5 million next year. 45 million in 2022 but still its immense value, hes only 25. No QB of his caliber has ever been moved at this stage in their career. The closest example was Jay Cutler.

Rodgers isn't going anywhere. And I wouldn't hold your breath on Watson either. While it is nice to dream about, I just don't think they will have the capital to go get him.

I say he gets traded if he's willing to sit out games and pull a Le'Veon Bell

There's a lot of good teams with imminent QB needs. Colts and Saints need it now, Bucs (maybe, depends on ole Brady) and Steelers after next year. Gonna be a fuckin' wild offseason.

God it is so hard being a Texans fan.

I am pretty much resigning my loyalty to them and looking to catch on to a new team to follow.

If Burrow is irreparably damaged I might be the same. Burrow was the a sign of hope and the future and we let him get devastated before he could finish his first year. Although his rehab looks insane. We was walking completely normally already just a few weeks ago.

Yesterday, someone was saying 49'ers are on the fast track for Stafford currently, will try and dig it up. Rodgers isn't going anywhere unless GB decides they can't afford him. His message was one of MO MONEY.

Rodgers annual salary looks low, but he got a huge signing bonus so it's not nearly as bad as it looks.
