On the flip side...if the Hawks do pull out the win tonight, how do the Wings come back knowing they've blown the 3-1 lead and having to go back to Chicago for Game 7.

I'm actually amending my prediction slightly.

Hawks will barely pull out a win in Detroit tonight to force game 7 with a 3-2 score and then totally annihilate Detroit in game 7 to the tune of something like 5-1.

So it shall be written, so it shall be done.

You do realize that the sharks have outplayed the Kings in every game except game 5, right? Your saving grace has been Quick this entire series. Stoll being out is because fucking Brad Stuart just flat out destroyed him. And, SJ doesn't doesn't have half it's depth atm.

Have fun taking game 7, though. That's gonna blow.

You can't change your predictions when the series is nearing an end lol.

You didn't even outplay us yesterday. You got a 5 on 3. You didn't outplay us in game 4 either. You can't talk like it's the entire game when you outplay the Kings for the first period and a half and then get outplayed the rest of the way.

Kings just don't score enough consistently to go either way with game 7. Something looks wrong with Kopitar to me, Brown just got super hot last year at the right time.

Regardless, they've won the cup once in my lifetime, if they lose they lose...I just hope the officiating is fair BOTH ways.

Nothing more amusing than being lectured on sports protocol by a 4 team faggot.

Actually, a team outplaying a team late in the game is typically because the other team is sitting on a lead. When a team is up one or two goals they go into a shell in the third. Every team does this, none better than the Kings.

If you consider that your team was massively outshot in the first two games, and won primarily off of PP goals, then I could make the argument that the man advantage has been extremely lucrative for you as well.

I wouldn't mind some better calls, though. I would really love to see all the hits behind the play called, and I'd like to see Brown go to the box for just one of his damn shenanigans.

Being outshot doesn't really mean all that much when those shots weren't all quality shots, but the fact is we weren't really outshot in game 4 or 6 and we massively out hit you on your ice. It doesn't really matter if a team is playing like shit sitting on a lead does it, it's still playing like shit.

Your claim is the Sharks have outplayed the Kings in every game except 5. That's retarded.

I also don't deny the Sharks have played well this series.

They outshot them, outchanced them, won more face-offs, had better possession numbers and put less pressure on their goalie. The Kings outhit us...woo. The effects of hitting are far more subjective than shots on goal.

At the end of the day, the first two games were decided by power playsin favor of the Kings. And on their home ice to boot. So i'd say it's pretty even on that front.

I watched every second. Quick raped you in game one, you lost. You outplayed the Kings in game 2 and we got a shitty call to give us a 5 on 3. There is just no way you outplayed us the entire games in 4 and 6, for parts of those games? Yes.

I guess what it comes down to is I really dislike 5 on 3's in the playoffs, especially off delay of game penalties. Anyone have the stats on 5v3 goals? Can't seem to find it.

The disallowed goal in game 4 was beyond horseshit and that's where I really lost my cool. Sorry.

I did find this though.

Sticks and stones and all that. At least when I make predictions, I follow through with them.

Also the last time you and I disagreed on a hockey series you paid me $20. So it's cool, I don't sweat you. I look forward to your Cup predictions 3 games into that series.

Wow Chicago has zero PPG on the road? esh. They still have a very real shot at beating Detroit but they wont win a cup playing like that. Detroits overall PP% is garbage as well, good Lord.

I guess I get that. We were subject to that shit in game two and lost home advantage because of it and I wasn't very happy, but I guess I am just getting used to shitty rules. Subjectivity in the rules causes this, and much like in law it is essentially unavoidable. I think it's simply a bummer way to lose a game and I can imagine someone wanting to punt a baby over it, but that's life.

Oh, and as far as SJ and the PP: we simply learned from previous years. After playing the likes of Vancouver and the Blues, you learn that you need to let people get burned for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Tagging people for being stupid is just a part of the game. If someone is going to hit you from behind, fall. Sell that shit. That is how the game is played nowadays and EVERYONE is doing it. Until the rules are better defined, that is how the game is always going to be played. It's not the officials fault at that point, it's the fault of the player for not playing the game correctly.

It's incredibly lame, but it's still fucking hockey and that is saying a lot.

Just adds up when it feels like its happened so many times in one series. Certainly was a build up to Mount St. Mippo.

Impressive you've done that in 2 less games!!!

I never paid anyone money on this board. You're confusing me with someone else, retard.

P.S. My original prediction was that Chicago will win the series
