Not sure how up to date these really are though.

Also, as far as 5 on 3 in general go, I think you do see less in the playoffs than in the regular season. The delay of game is just tough, because it's an automatic call, and not something they will "let go more" like a normal penalty that might be a soft penalty they wouldn't call to put a team down 5 on 3.

In some ways though, I agree with delay of game being called more if you're already down a guy...because in that case, as a defender you don't have to worry about icing that might make you think you need to chip it off the glass to take some steam off of the puck and prevent it from going all the way down the ice. You can just fire it straight down without concern, so if you fire it over the glass in that spot, it's pretty fucking dumb.
