Maybe this will create a new rivalry ala Wings/Avs in late 90s but I doubt it. Kings are a bunch of bitches and they'll always be bitches.

No way Keith gets a suspension for that. He didn't intend to whack him in the face, and there's no significant injury (stitches happen all the time in the NHL). It has to be a pretty horrific high stick to warrant a suspension. And personally I think Carter had it coming. He basically tried to break Keith's hand there. There's no question he intended to slash his hand.

Carter's play was dirty, Keith's retaliation escalated into the "really?" category because of where it caught Carter. If there is a suspension expect 1 game at the most, but I would bet there isn't one.

Looks to me like a very quick reaction to Carter's bullshit that was intended to whack him across the upper arm that ended up 6-8" higher than he intended, largely because of the angle his stick was at. I really doubt he intended to whack him in the face, even judging by his reaction. He's like "oh fuck, what did I do?" It's careless no question, but it's not premeditated or intentional.
