Kovy blasts one and is hopefully out of his funk.
Favorite goal of the game was Elias'. I wish I could find a picture of him shrugging after the goal because he really wanted to set somebody else up while being left alone at the side of the net for 5 seconds, before giving up and scoring himself.

Debate about the ref's calling way too many penalties aside, you'd think they players and coaches would be getting the message to not chirp at the ref's about the calls. Every Devils game I've seen in the past week has had one or two unsportsmanlike calls for "ref abuse".

I think the shrug was more like "I'll take it." That shit should never have gone in lol, it was more like a "... okay... ?" type of goal.

As for the win today, it's great to see the rookies getting involved. And yeah, that one glove save by Brodeur was just a thing of beauty.

And of course, the empty net fiasco haha.

Nice rebound win for the Yotes after a thorough asswhooping by the blackhawks. Mike Smith was on fire, stopped 33 shots and the Yotes win in a shootout!

I'm still concerned by the lack of offense on this team though.

Brodeur with the W in his 1200th game vs Pitt. Just keeps on rolling.

Is there any doubt he's the greatest goalie of all-time? Obviously he's no longer the top dog in the league, but his play at his age is just absolutely mind blowing.

To think he's been with the Devils his entire career. Going to be a shame when he hangs them up.

Interestingly enough, he's never lead the league in SV% and only led GAA once. Perennial leader in wins, though.

Been looking at Marty's career stats, it is hard to believe he's not been on those lists more especially the type of defense they played in front of him.

This kinda surprised me also on a related note. While looking up Brodeur stats. The top ten most wins by goalies in history are....All Canadian nationals.

Grabovski bites Max Pacioretty lol, who does that?
Watch the video from the front, he wrapped his arm over Grabovski's mouth and nose from behind, what did he expect was going to happen? then he goes and whines to the ref afterwards like he was innocent in all of it. He bloody well deserved it.
