Way to get high at 7 am and post.Wings, sharks, rangers, sens.
3 for 8, not very good. Surprised that Detroit got by Anaheim probably the most of any of the series. Although Vancouver being swept was a pretty pleasant surprise as well. Round 2:(1)Pittsburghv. (8) NY Islanders
(2)Montrealv. (7) Ottawa
(3) Washington v. (6)NY Rangers
(4) Boston v. (5)Toronto
West
(1)Chicagov. (8) Minnesota
(2)Anaheimv. (7) Detroit
(3)Vancouverv. (6) San Jose
(4) St. Louis v. (5)Los Angeles
Bro, you were 4 for 8.So how awesome was that Leafs collapse last night? Pretty awesome, I think. First team in NHL history to be up 3 goals in the third period of a game 7 and lose (how they find stat shit like that, I have no idea).

I really, really want San Jose to beat the Kings as I have a lot of money in a hockey pool, and a single bet with another team for $1,500 that has a bunch of LA guys while my team has a few SJ. If LA wins the series, we lose that bet for sure.
5 out of 8, not too bad.East

5/8. Could have been 7/8 but I only went 1-2 in the Game 7's.East
(1)Pittsburghv. (8) NY Islanders - Pens in 6 (was going to say 5, but Pens won't be at full strength).
(2)Montrealv. (7) Ottawa - Montreal in 7. I expect a weird series.
(3)Washingtonv. (6) NY Rangers - Caps in 6. Homer pick, I believe in Oates and Ovechkin.
(4)Bostonv. (5) Toronto - Bruins in 6. Toronto will be a game opponent, but not have enough.
West
(1)Chicagov. (8) Minnesota - 'Hawks in 5. Only cause I think it would be fucked up to predict a sweep.
(2)Anaheimv. (7) Detroit - Ducks in 7. Wings will fight hard, and Boudreau just loves 7 game sereis.
(3) Vancouver v. (6)San Jose- Sharks in 6. Just a gut feeling.
(4) St. Louis v. (5)Los Angeles- Kings in 7, I expect a great series with lots of OT games.
Sitting through our Game 7 last night was soul crushing...but I don't think I'd even be a functioning human being if what happened to the Leafs happened to us last night. The only saving grace for Toronto was that it was on the road...and even that is zero consolation.Good times in Toronto.
Ok, geeze!Quote your previous picks jackasses:

I blame this more on California having some of the best teams in the NHL. PACIFICDIVISIONWUT!There's moreCaliforniahockey teams left than Canadian ones.
WTF, Canada? Get your shit together. You don't see a bunch of Canuck teams in the NBA playoffs!
I'm sure it's universal in our locker room, but he needs to just let it go. Yes, I think for the most part we got the short end of the stick on the calls for most of the series, but that doesn't matter. Our PK was great (and Rags' PP was bad)...just win anyways. You let them get in your head and all you have is an excuse for why the team came out and had zero answers in Game 7 where the refs basically let everything go. The Caps were just undisciplined in general from the standpoint that it was extremely easy to see how games were going to get called, and they were just dumb fucks and didn't adjust. Game 6 was a clear example of that. Sure it's ridiculous we had 0 PP's in that game, but the penalties we took were by and large guys just being fucking morons, especially after you see how they are going to call the game after the first penalty against Hillen.Ovie calling out the refs.
I can't disagree. I wasnt happy with the officiating at first, but after seeing the caps take the brunt of it from game 3 on I stfu.I'm sure it's universal in our locker room, but he needs to just let it go.
