Any thoughts of a "conspiracy" in my mind are simply ridiculous. I do think teams get reps with the officials, and it affects how their games are officiated, and the Caps don't have a great one...but it's on them to change that. It's not unfair to ask questions when a series seems so close on the ice, but one team has the most PP chances of any team in the playoffs, and the other has the fewest PP chances per game of any team in the playoffs. I mean...after Game 1, it was 24-11 PP advantage for the Rangers. Yes, we probably got the short stick a little bit there, but it's not why we lost the series. Him and especially Backstrom should ask themselves how they're going to win games when they can eliminate their opponent when they get shut out in both of them. You can't get outworked by the goalie, and officiating had very little to do with that.

SJ looked so rusty out there tonight. Quick did what he always does and robbed us a few times. I can't believe they didn't even get a goal considering they out-shot LA, almost two-to-one. Reminds me of that game they had a couple of years ago where quick got a shutout even though he had 50+ shots against him.

I do not like our line match-ups, especially with Havlat out.

Not sure I would say outclassed, but it there was less points scored than I expected. Though it would be 3-2 or 4-3. But it was quiet until 3rd period.
